Hotel & Restaurant Schönau

We asked for tea making facilties in the room and were pleasantly surprised with the huge variety of teas provided. Also as the temperature was unusually high for the time of the year, the staff left a cooling fan in the room. Very convenient and ample parking areas, lovely patio with comfortable sitting. Excellent breakfast choices, with honey in a honeycomb, which you do not see very often. Cannot fault it.

Beautiful, modern hotel with excellent facilities and attentive staff.

Very helpful and kind staff. Dinner very nice.

It was a bit hot in my room.

immaculate, friendly staff. The breakfast Buffet was Superb. I really couldn’t find anything Negative to say about this Hotel. We really didn’t expect such high Standards because the price we paid to stay here was so cheap. Thank You

Very good location, nice staff, good breakfast, Very good meal in restaurant.

We stayed at this hotel on our way from England to Poland ( and then again on the way back so 2 nights in December 2022). The hotel accommodates pets (we travelled with a dog). It is located a very short drive from the A2. We loved the very big room and super comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good too - loved the fresh bread! If we ever travel along that route again, we will stay at this hotel again.

Comfortable clean room. Clean good sized bathroom. Nice patio outside room to enjoy fresh air.

No restaurant or bar facilities open on the night of our stay. The only option therefore was to find a meal in the vicinity of the hotel or stay in the room. Breakfast was disappointing for travellers who enjoy a hot breakfast. Sausages, beans and eggs, were barely warm but also dry from being left standing too long. The lack of facilities meant that the hotel did not meet its apparent 4* star standards in our experience.

Facilities, breakfast, outside area

A bit disappointing that we couldn't get a separate bed for our son to sleep

breakfast

old room, small pillow

The minibar, which was included in the room rate, was a real treat, definitely after a long and hot day, like the one during our stay.

The bathroom was a bit worn and since the hotel is four star it is probably time for renovation.

Beautiful hotel and lovely people. Food great ? room very comfortable and spacious. Thank you for having us. We will definitely return.
