Review summary
The hotel receives high praise for its clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and excellent amenities, including high-quality toiletries. Guests appreciate the fantastic location, which is within walking distance of various attractions, bars, and public transport, along with the friendly and attentive staff. While some noted issues with noise insulation and parking management, the overall experience is positive, making it a recommended choice for visitors looking for a boutique stay in a central area.

The location was exceptional, and everything was within a short walking distance. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily and very nice as well.
Wish there was a bar on site but there are several within walking distance

Location was fantastic being really close to Quincy Markets, North Station, walking distance to Boston Common, the wharf, even the North End for terrific eating options. Room was a really good size, comfortable and well serviced.
Not much really - personal opinion only that there was only one lift (hahaha) and it sounded rickety!

Staff was amazing. Room was very clean.
Luckily only 1 night because the room was very tiny. Paid crazy amount to park.

The hotel was comfortable enough with lots of restaurant options within easy reach.
The room was very small and the space difficult to navigate. The girl who checked us in was extremely rude, rolling her eyes and this did not make me feel very welcome after a long, international flight. The hotel was very expensive for what it was and I wouldn’t stay again.

Location, quiet, close to airport, bed was comfortable
The person who checked us in was very rude and made us uncomfortable- so much so that we didn’t even complain about our room that smelled like cigarettes. Pretty unhappy about that considering I am pregnant. Rooms are pretty small.

Location was perfect! Near Boudin T train stn and round the corner from North Station. We were able to walk everywhere in the city during our stay. Staff very friendly.
Not enough staff for breakfast one of the days. One poor girl serving under tremendous pressure. Unclear billing, were told there was $20 credit against food & bev per day but at checkout, appeared to be only once per stay.

The location is great. It is a quaint and cozy hotel.
The coffee. Decaf coffee would be nice, as not everyone can drink regular coffee. I wish there was more than 1 elevator

Boutique Hotel, great customer service, clean, kind, friendly people. Rooms are small…it’s Boston, square footage comes at a premium! Bed was very comfortable! Great location, centrally located to hop on and off the T to get anywhere in the city! Would have been nice to have an outdoor area to sit and have coffee, but overall we would recommend The Boxer!
