The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza St. Louis

The location was great, we found some lovely restaurants close by. The service was brilliant. The staff around the pool were so nice, on a very very hot day.

The parking was expensive $40 overnight a surprise to have to pay for this.

We live the chase! Great location and fun hotel to stay in.

Old preserved beautiful architecture of the hotel building, really well maintained. What a gem. Location is also superb.

The hotel was clean. The rooms were great, and the location were excellent.

The Chase is beautifully decorated for Christmas and New Year’s. The staff is always courteous, friendly and helpful.

We wished we could get a little snack after 11pm.

I loved the tenderloin room. The food was amazing & the service was excellent. My husband ordered the old fashion & the presentation was awesome. The hotel is beautiful. I love the amenities. 2 restaurants and the Chase Club. The movie theatre is a plus also.

Toilet seats are extremely low. Bad for my back & knees.

We had room service and it was good and prompt. Food was good. But nothing extraordinary. They did NOT bring us a table, just a tray which mad it a bit hard to eat breakfast in bed but this is typical. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL! Having a gorgeous pool and a movie theater and three restaurants and bars is great. The service was exceptional exception sometimes slow to answer the phone at the front desk at busy times. The public areas are all gorgeous. The frig in the room was appreciated. My mom thought we should have a microwave as well. Robes were not automatically provided with this grade of room but when I asked for them they gave them to us except that they were thin, rayon-type robes, not the thick terry robes that are preferable. Valet service for the car was always quick. Perfect location for restaurants and shopping! Great neighborhood! Straub's for picnic supplies and picnic in Forest Park! Left Bank Books. Blue Mercury, LuluLemon and other stores. Can find so much without leaving the neighborhood!

The sheets and bedding didn't seem first quality and I didn't see any extra blankets. The towels seemed rather low quality, thin and the sheets likewise rough and not top quality. The lack of robes at check in and only one luggage rack. No extra blanket. No extra pillows. Some light bulbs were burnt out but quickly replaced. The minuses were relatively minor.

This property was not only beautiful but it smelled amazing. The staff is wonderful very helpful and all did an amazing job. This property was mostly adults the workout room was like a real gym it was huge and it had a movie theater inside the hotel I thought that was very cool and it was historical. They had entertainment at the bar in the evening. I loved this hotel so much that we will definitely be returning and the are a chain hotel company so we plan to stay at there other locations as well.

I didn’t like there was not a lot of gluten free options I have an allergy so wasn’t able to eat a whole lot there they did have some but very limited. The pool was very crowded we did not get to swim but it was a holiday weekend I think on an average weekend it would have been better. I think this property can use some hot tubs and it would be nice if the pool could be open later than 8pm maybe do adults only 7-10pm maybe just a thought. I also think it would have been nice to have complimentary parking since the rooms are more on the pricey side.

Wonderful stay at the Chase. We love the Pool area and the uniqueness of having a Movie theatre in the hotel. The Bar at the Tenderloin room is awesome. Great location with great access to Forest Park and some great restaurants locally.

The Bathrooms in the Hotel don't really stack up to the quality of the hotel. They are small and outdated. It also feels like the Hotel is constantly understaffed. There is hardly ever anyone manning the Concierge desk and the Valet wait can be lengthy during busy times due to lack of personnel.
