Hotel Landy Orlando Universal Blvd., a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Hotel was very welcoming, beautiful scent throughout the hotel. Rooms lovely and clean. Lots of social areas to suit everyone.

Great location

The rooms looked like they needed some work. The property had to turn the water off from 8:30am-2pm. Would have been nice when checking in at midnight that was going to happen in the morning for the entire time we were there. No communication about it. We ended up checking out the very next day. The hotel stayed I would get a refund except for the first night. Understandable! Still no refund and I checked out October 28th. I have been messaging and calling and no one has done a thing to issue my refund. They just kept my hard earned money. I gave them grace and patience and yet they always have an excuse. When trying to figure out what was going on with the water, my husband went downstairs to let staff know our shower wasn’t working since we didn’t know the water would be off. They stated to him that they would send someone upstairs. We waited and waited and no one came to check on us. Finally after about 1 hour or so I called from my cell phone and that’s when they decided to tell us that they cut the water off and that it would be off every single day from 8:30am-2pm.

Nice hotel, good location. Very friendly staff. We spent very little time in our room, since we were most of the time in adventure parks, but for what we stayed iz was nice.

When checking in, I had greeted my Renee who communicated well and was very personable. HShe made me feel welcomed. Other staff members encountered pleasant and helpful. Also our room was upgraded! This was a pleasant surprise and I appreciated having more space. The view of Universal and surrounding parks was amazing

The trash in the front of the hotel was always full. Sometimes there was so much trash that there was some on the side of the can. Just effects the overall view of the cleanliness of the property. Also there were only 2 entrances and exits...in the front and on the one side of the building. It would be more to have at least three

The hotel had a nice appearance and was nicely designed and laid out.

The parking cost of 35$ per night was stated after booking confirmation. This is overpriced.The included breakfast means: you get a voucher of 23$ with which you can get one choice of a few things from a card in a mini-market like a burrito or a sandwich or an omelette. All come with a handful breakfast potatoes and a dip of ketchup. There is waiting included. Then a service fee is charged, so you can't really get more out of your included breakfast than that. No drinks unless you buy it. This is what you get told at check-in.Also you get told that you get a 15$ room credit from which you can buy stuff from the hotel bar or the mini market (orly-market). This also really allows you to buy one thing. If you don't use it on that day, you lose the credit. In the end, they stated only a 10$ credit on my bill instead of the promised 15$.All this thinking of registering for the parking, using the voucher correctly, using the room credit correctly, adds up making this stay either complicated calculating the cost or you just see what else they want to charge for in the end.Other than that, the air conditioning is quite old fashioned and makes a lot of noise every now and then.

Comfortable Beds and nice décor throughout the hotel.Quiet clean hotel with a good pool plus the sun beds were fab.
