    Pros +

    • I liked the location, very friendly staff. Great foid in restaurant. Very good breakfast
    • Very disappointed. This is not a 4-star experience, it feels like a 3-star hotel with hostel-level service. The Lows:• Unwelcoming Staff: After a 10-hour drive with toddlers, we were told no food was available. My husband drove half an hour round-trip for takeout, they refused to let us sit at the empty breakfast tables to eat or anywhere else they suggested we eat in our room on our beds. They only let us use the table after I complained and they forced us to buy drinks.• Hidden Costs: They charge €19 per person (including 3-year-olds!) for 1 hour in a basic jacuzzi. This wasn't clear on Booking.com and would cost our family €80 for one hour for a basic 4 star hotel facility. We came here for a ski vacation!• Poor Breakfast: very limited. Oily food, no fresh fruit or vegetables, and a broken coffee machine.• Maintenance: Room key cards fail constantly, requiring frequent trips to the lobby. They don’t offer little shampoo or conditioners. The "shampoo" is a cheap 2-in-1 soap in a big dispenser. We were only given one little bottle of conditioner for the whole 5 day stay. There is no phone in the room to call reception. The heated pool is closed.Even though we came on probably the most expensive week of the year, it was far from being generous. For me the value for money was very low. They don't understand hospitality or how to host families especially with kids. Not a 4-star experience.
    • Excellent buffet for breakfast. Enormous bed size. More than 220 cm width size.

    Cons -

    • The Highs: The rooms are clean and beds are okay just missing pillows, but overall the management is being cheap on every detail.
    • The dinner closes too early (at 22h) if you come from Barcelona. They should provide any type of food, keeping in mind that the whole village restaurants are closing simultaneously.
    • I found various hairs in the bathroom on arrival, which was off-putting. The room was boiling hot when we arrived because the heating was on (it was raining, but around 19-20º, so no need for heating in my opinion) and it took a while to make the room temp bearable (we decided to sleep with the window open in the end). The dinner menu offered didn't match the one posted outside the restaurant for some reason. Very low pillows for us, so we folded a blanket and placed it underneath both pillows.

The room was spacious enough for a couple of days and the bed was really big. There was a good variety of food for breakfast: eggs, bacon, sausages, cold meats, cheese, cereal, fruit, pastries and cakes, yoghurt, etc. I didn't go to the spa, so can't comment on it. You can book outdoor activities through the hotel to do nearby, but they may not run if not enough people join. Good space outside to park your car. Slept with window open and could hear the river, which I found relaxing.

Great staff, good location and super comfy beds and room.

The room was great but windows were super small and there were basically no views.

Everything was simply perfect! One of the best places we have ever stayed. The owners Rosa and Manuel were extremely attent to all our needs, very kind and they work aound the clock to give the best to their guests. The place is great, it is quiet, has outdoor and indoor swimming pools, it.has two restaurants (one more fancy and the other for.snacks and sandwiches), working and reading rooms, a spa and even a convention room. The hotels has several ativitoes.to offer besides the spa, and the horses, such as an amazing rafting activity situated 7 minutes walk from the hotel. I will definitely return!!! Can't wait.for.the next visit. Jeniffer at the reception was extremely nice.to us, did all her could to give.us the best experience. It was the perfect place to.stay with my wife and kids. A boutique hotel in the nature, which is also great for the entire family.Thank you so much Rosa and Manuel

    All was great

Beautiful place, excellent food, very friendly staff. We keep coming back every year because the hotel just feels like home away from home.

It is an absolutely amazing hotel, very clean and beautiful. The staff is friendly and helping. We stayed for one night. We spent some time near the pool. The territory is absolutely amazing, the pool territory has a spectacular mountain views and a great garden. We visited spa, that was clean and great. Unfortunately there are no chairs in the spa so there is no place to chill and one hour is enough to swim in the warm pool, sit in sauna and hamam. Also the hotel is located near the mountain river, and near the old medieval town, which is very cozy and worth having a walk. Even in summer the air in the morning and evening is fresh and there are a lot of things to do in those area - spectacular hiking routes, rafting and horse riding. We were so impressed by the trip in general and the hotel specifically. They made our short trip really amaizing!

great location, rooms are clean and seems new, very good choice of stay

Lovely place in a lovely area. Close to rafting (which was awesome) and close to a river with a great hike. Large clean family room

    8JustinePosted on: 7-13-2024

The hotel itself was in a good position close to the village to walk into. Pool are was nice but not heated very warm

Unfortunately when I booked there was no mention of a huge group of teenagers staying in the hotel who were extremely noisy in the pool (basically took over the place) and also at breakfast. Luckily they were dining in a separate room that evening. We booked the spa for an hour and was told that the sauna takes half an hour to heat up but even after two hours we couldn’t use it as it was still cold. The pool and steam room were nice and we had exclusive use for an hour.

We had an excellent time at Hotel Riberies. Everybody who works there is excellent - with a particular shout out to the lovely team in the restaurant. We ate there on our first night and had such a laugh with them! I’m vegetarian and I had a really great dinner there. After a big day of hiking we bubbled in the spa for an hour. It was a beautiful way to end the day.Our room was good and in the morning when we opened the window there were horses outside the stables, waiting to take a group out, which was really cute. The whole experience was charming and the location is an excellent base for hiking. We hope to return to the area and would definitely stay here again. Thanks everyone! ?

Nice Hotel, great location, friendly staff. Good breakfast!

It’s nice that the spa is only available with a reservation. But it’s weird that this comes with an extra price. No problem to pay it, but the price for visitors is not much different. That feels a little weird. Yet, the spa is nice, and the privacy is worth the extra cost.

    7BrunoPosted on: 10-17-2023

the bed was perfect, the garage

old furniture, staff doing the minimum, the restaurant was open but in fact only some cold dishes available and nobody told us ahead

The facilities and the location is amazing. Surrounded by the Noguera Pallaresa river in a super quiet place. The hotel is a nice place with a curated spaces and food quality. The staff is super nice and helpful.

Maybe the facilities and private spaces (spa, room, bathroom) was a little bit old fasioned. The shower made a mess each time you shower flooding everything and the pillows could be improved. Overall just a few minor details in the whole experience.

We had a fantastic room with Mountain View’s. We ate at the hotel on one of our nights and the food was delicious. Breakfast was a very good buffet.we took 2 hours in the Spa and came away feeling fantastic.

The views. we stayed in the suite it was very nice

the controls on the spa bath didn’t work well.

located in the park surrounded with green. really nice.

3rd floor rooms have very small windows, the feeling is of 4 walls and a ceiling closing on you.

very spacious and clean room, comfy bed, good breakfast and friendly service, location is also convenient for day escapes

quite pricey , spa facilities are not accessible unless you pay extra even if we had booked a deluxe room. wifi very weak
