Hotel Restaurant Goldener Engel

Comfortable bed and modern updated bathroom. TV in the mirror was an efficient use of space.

No elevator - only a spiral staircase. Not a problem for us, but for some guests this could be a real issue. We were told we had guaranteed parking but it turned out to be luck of the draw.

Nice hotel in beutiful old town

Hard to find way to drive to hotel in old town.

Friendly staff. Well-maintained facilities. Great breakfast.

Location is excellent.Staff is very friendly and professionalBed is confortableBreakfast is very good

The room is a small one and there is no minibar in it.

Excellent location, beautiful views, comfortable room, staff very friendly and willing to accommodate. The dinner menu from the restaurant was delicious.

The breakfast was limited compared to some locations we've been, though it met our needs and was included, the breakfast staff was friendly.

Nice room, good breakfast. Good restaurant.

Parking lot @ the hotel a bit complicated to find. You need to drive on to the marktplatz to find it right next to the hotel.

Easy to get to from train station.

Fun friendly staff. Great breakfast

Updated and clean and cosy.

Beautiful location and nice breakfast.

Hard to park because of a weddingShower doors missed rubbers (room 23), so there was a cm of water on the floor after a shower. For this price I would have expected coffee and tea facilities in the room

The staffs were very helpful in answering our storage need of the freezer, they also followed up with us very speedy when they found we did not give them an email address for the electronic invoice. We also like the breakfast - good variety, a very tidy serving area, and a good approach to reducing food waste. Location was in the center of the old town, super!

The information of the car park area could be provided after we booked the hotel.

Charming place. Food exceptionally good.

To get to the hotel parking by car is like a labyrint. Better upfront description needed.

Food in the evening was very nice .. lots of options and well-cooked. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable but the bed was a little hard and there was nothing to the pillow which made it difficult for me to sleep - but that is personal opinion only. The hotel is in the middle of Heppenheim on the market square and has its own car park, so excellent location in the old town.

Nothing to dislike other than too soft a pillow

Good location, nice building

Couldn’t open bathroom window so got very steamy with no ventilation

Central location in beautiful HP - Tesla Charger - to breakfast with beautiful staff

Very nice rooms, great location, and delicious breakfast.

Bathroom ventilation can be a bit better.

Excellent stay in a very nice place, very warm personnel and comfortable rooms, very nice style.

on the Marktplatz.

aMachine to check in, but a woman came out and checked us in.

Breakfast was fantastic with a choice of eggs, fresh bread, lots of cold cuts and muesli and additional things. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was a tiny bit small but not a big deal for me. There was a bit of a stain on the carpet but everything else was updated and nice. Fair warning, no elevators so lots of stairs to carry suitcases up. Neighborhood was so quaint and walking around was a highlight. There was parking behind the hotel which was convenient, though getting to the hotel was a bit difficult as some of the small roads were blocked off.

well organized, nice team, clean. well located. good breakfast

parking lot is quite narrow and limitated

The hotel was a perfect spot to spend a couple of days. The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke English. The location was excellent. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was free parking nearby, and the hotel restaurant food was delicious!
