The Staff.

No hot water for one day.Breakfast/Lunch area was always too hot.Room Service was poor.

Great location and facilities, perfect for families with kids. Delicious breakfast provided. Free parking is available. Includes an on-site beach club, seaside bar, restaurant, and bakery. Just a short walk to the beach, with numerous dining options, nightclubs, and shops nearby.

Although the majority of the staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism, a few seasonal team members appeared to struggle with adequate training and attentiveness. This contrast created a mixed bag of experiences for guests, highlighting the importance of consistency in service excellence.

Very high quality facilities with the absolute nicest, politest staff ever.

Due to the name of the brand the extras cost a lot of money cor example one bottle of water (33cc) at about 140 turkish liras.

Location, room & the patio. Very green and a nice vibe around.

Best Location on the beach at the Bodrum area. Real Luxury hotel. Seevice is outstanding

- rather new rooms / bathrooms which were nice and comfortable

- Terrible gym (not well equipped, old equipment, dirty and very smelly (cat pee)- Dogs and cats everywhere (by the beach, breakfast, dinner) - no refill of bath products- Breakfast generally with a wide turkish selection, but breakfast room felt more like a simple hotel than a 5 star- Most of the service personnel speaks broken english / various requests at the reception could not be answered. - Restaurant was a total rip off (everywhere in the area the same). - We didnt like the area at all. You better off staying by the beach of the hotel

The absolute lack of care for customer’s wellbeing and the absence of hygiene, very unique in a 5 stars hotel

Attempting to celebrate my birthday, my girlfriend and I opted for Divan Bodrum, lured by its stellar reputation and glowing online reviews. We envisioned a romantic getaway to mark our engagement—a memorable experience. Unfortunately, reality fell disastrously short of our expectations.Upon arrival, we were blindsided by ongoing massive renovations, a detail only disclosed after our non-refundable payment was processed. The notification about these renovations was poorly communicated in broken English, which led us to underestimate the extent of the disruption.The hotel's facilities were in a deplorable state. The tennis court was repurposed as a storage area, rendering it unusable. The swimming pool area was neglected, with sporadic and ineffective cleaning efforts. As for the spa, it was merely a sauna and massage room, a far cry from the luxury we anticipated.The entire Türkbücü area, not just Divan, was under significant reconstruction. We were told by hotel staff that "the season has not started yet," which begs the question: why open the hotel at all if it's not ready to provide the promised experience?While our room was clean and most staff were pleasant, it was adjacent to a noisy storage area, disrupting our peace from 8 AM daily. Although the breakfast was adequate, it failed to compensate for the overall disappointing experience.If I were managing Divan, I would prioritize guest satisfaction by either closing during renovations or directing guests to alternative accommodations ensuring no one has to endure such a poor experience. There was even not a single message from the management of the hotel to apology about the renovations, even not a single divan chocolate in the room… such a awful stay.In conclusion, Divan Bodrum might be a viable option once renovations are complete, but for now, I strongly advise against booking a stay here.

We (a family of four) had an excellent stay. Both the hotel and its surrounding territory are cosy and well-maintained. There is a small private sandy beach, clean and with lifeguard on duty, plus a nice wooden platform with sunbeds next to the beach. The swimming pool is very nice (and large) and the tennis court is well maintained. The reception service is very efficient and very friendly. Separate mention is due of the room cleaning maids - they manage to work very quickly and somehow invisibly for the guests, as if the rooms are cleaning themselves! The rooms are equipped with all one needs and the beds are quite comfortable.

There is a distinct area where improvement would be welcome, particularly for the benefit of non-Turkish guests - the restaurant service. Most of the restaurant staff seem to be temporary employees, so (a) they are not trained for restaurant service (forget orders, make guests wait for too long, etc) and (b) they speak almost no English. As a result the impression from meals (both at breakfast and later in the day) is often spoiled by mistakes and inefficiency, although the food itself is quite good.

Great location, very central. Good beach, breakfast. Good, helpful staff in reception. They even brought me water when I was playing tennis. Handled all my print outs.

Very slow and poor service at the beach. The staff is tired or slow there. They served hamburger without ketchup :) saying it's finished. They start dinner in the left side of the beach and close it around evening time. We were on the right side and they asked us to leave. That didn't seem hospitable.I think it's mostly poor management issue instead of staff. The prices don't really justify the sub-standard experience.

This place is catering to national clients while charging exorbitant prices for foreign tourists. Staff friendly but untrained and disorganized. You have to be Turkish speaking to get things done and then again, more often than not this doesn’t work either ( my wife is Turkish). Only positive note were the two gentlemen at the reception (the “E”s as they made a difference). Food quality mediocre by Turkish and international standards. Pool is nice, beach small but just okay. It was an underwhelming experience all in all.

Wonderful, clean and comfortable rooms. Amazing breakfast with great service. Also very central.

Beautiful grounds, good food and good location. We were there at the end of high season and were the only ones at the pool and the beach pretty much the whole week. It was great.

Communication was very poor. Called to make a cancellation. Staff promised to call back to update me. Never called back. Sent them a message on booking.com only for them to reply after 5 days saying not possible. Disappointed.

Location was fantastic. The spa services were very nice and food and beverages were also nice.

It was expensive for the quality of the hotel. However we were there at the height of the season and we were paying for the location. In Bodrum you will pay for having a high quality location and exclusivity.

Every detail said high quality. Luxury without being ostentatious or offensive . The food was amazing in the Turkish restaurant and truly incredible breakfasts (Turkish breakfast and western choices). Loved the pool area.

Beach is small, but the sea very clear here.
