This hotel is located in the market square in the heart of Trier’s historic Old Town district. Hotel Restaurant Frankenturm offers an authentic Italian restaurant with a pretty courtyard. Rooms at Hotel Frankenturm Trier feature bright and elegant interiors. All rooms include cable TV and a private bathroom with shower. The stylish, wood-paneled restaurant serves original stone-baked pizzas as well as pasta and seafood specialties. Dining is also possible on the terrace. The Frankenturm is a 2-minute walk from Trier Cathedral and a 15-minute walk from the Roman Bridge. It is an ideal base for exploring the Moselle Valley on a hiking or cycling tour.

The hotel is located just off the pedestrian centre of Trier. I arrived an hour early but a very nice man from the restaurant helped me gain access. He also took my suitcase up to the second floor for me. What great service. The room was basic but clean. The room during the evening was filled with the aroma of great food being served from the restaurant below. I would stay here again.
