Hilton Vacation Club Oceanaire Virginia Beach

Well, the hotel itself was good. I would rate it 8, but the staffs deserve more than 10. I needed to jump start my car after I checked out. So, I asked the staff whether they can help me. And one white young lady (I'm sorry, I forgot her name), drove her car to the parking lot, use her jumper cable to start my vehicle. Technically, I wasn't their guest anymore at that time, but she still decided to help me.

Well appointed room with a big, beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean. Easy parking in the garage about half a block away. Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shops!

I don’t think there are enough elevators for a property this size and it gets very jammed up at certain times of the day. Other than that it was lovely.

The room facilities and comfort.

The fact that I was on the 13th floor was too high for me and I did not spend time on the balcony also because it was such a small view of the ocean I was ☹️ disappointed. Still Good otherwise.

Size of the rooms were nice and comfortable

The vending machines were not stocked and running to every other floor to get to one was not convenient. The parking is a joke and with the elevator broken there were plenty of older folks having to walk 7 flights of stairs….so sad! The icing on the cake was how completely rude, sarcastic and unaccommodating every front desk person we encountered was. I really expected more from this place and I most likely will not use them again

Pools and amenities

Beds were hard. Hallways were hot. Elevator was broken in parking garage. Bathroom & closet doors were hard to open. Kept hearing an Alarm noise all night.

Location was excellent. Cooked breakfast in room.

Bed could have been a little more softer

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly. The pools were great for the children.

We requested a lower floor due to my mom being afraid of heights and elevators. We were placed on the 16th floor and the to the 13th. It was very uncomfortable walking 13 flights of steps. Also only 1 elevator worked for the rest of the guest.

The location was good. Garage parking was approx a block away

Room smelled unclean and there was dirt in corners of room and shower had mold. Bed was very uncomfortable. Never saw housekeeping in my 5 night stay. Access to amenities was awkward so I didn’t use them. Resort fee was a surprise not mentioned in my booking

The location was good, the staff were friendly and took care of my concerns quickly.

I requested another mattress cover due to the one on the bed having small black things on it. They delivered new sheets along with the mattress cover but didn't offer to redo the bed. They could have at least offered to remake it.The fire alarm started beeping around 1am battery must be low and the iron cord was fraid (law suite) for someone.
