Wildcat Inn and Tavern

The huge sitting room right outside of the two rooms above the tavern !! The nice backyard. The short walk to things in Jackson Village including the best breakfast place in the Valley, "Yesterday's"...

It is an old time New England in with the rooms upstairs and the restaurant on the first floor. The rooms are nice. Each one is different. Then attached to the Inn is a pub that has live music three nights a week. Tuesday is the night we went.

Nothing. The open mic night was great. Great local musicians. Overhead a lady at lunch talking about seeing people there. So the locals all meet there too. The food and drinks are excellent.

The staff were very nice. Buy the rooms need A LOT of updating. The mattress was the most uncomfortable I¿ve ever slept on.

Location, decor, it has the whole thing - it has a restaurant, a bar, outdoor patio, private little house, live music, live music!!

Yes, window air conditioners and also steps that required climbing. I¿m 73 and have fallen many times. I had to make two trips to bring my belongings down. Stairway very narrow. No one present to greet you goodbye and to ask about your stay.

The staff was excellent the food excellent . Bed was comfortable and sheets clean

The hotel was very very old and stuffy to almost musty. I had to walk sideways to get to my bathroom. Heavy layered paint on woodwork and on painted over wallpaper. The inn needs to be overhauled in my opinion. I won¿t be staying again

It was located in the center of the quaint village of Jackson, NH. The staff was helpful, easy going. The place was modern, clean, comfortable.

If you are booking ask about the concerts--if they are having an outdoor concert, the house is right there in the midst of the music. That could be exactly what you want or not--for us, it ended up being entertaining and a nice surprise.

The room was so quaint and adorable. Much larger than I was expecting too. Very friendly staff and easy check in and out. I was there for the Mt. Washington Road Race so the location was perfect.

We enjoyed quaintness of the inn and individual style of each room. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at the tavern downstairs with an excellent Guinness pour!

It is an older building so there are some issues; no elevator means you carry all luggage to whatever floor you are on. (It is a tight squeeze!), and I had major issues with my shower. The temperature fluctuated a LOT at night, but was fine the next da

A perfect short stay. The hotel is in the center of the village with a fun restaurant/bar downstairs. We were tired from hiking so didn't want to venture too far. Bottomless coffee provided in the AM and the best breakfast spot a few steps from the hote

It is in a great location and has a neat historic charm.

The hotel seemed largely closed at this time of year. There were people working with loud power tools until late in the day, smell from shampooing carpets, furniture piled up blocking off what was supposed to be the common area and no coffee one morning.

The room was clean and as advertised. In fact, I was charged less than the quoted price. The bed was comfy, the shower was clean with good water pressure. The staff was excellent.

There was some late night and early morning noise above the room.

Ideal location

Cold showers and no breakfast (which we paid for).

My resurvation said breakfast included, they had no breafast. There was no working heat in the room.

Location, historic character of the inn and common areas, lounge, dining room and food quality.

Had to climb three flights of somewhat steep stairs to the room, difficult with luggage or for an older person. The room was somewhat small, but still adequater for one person.
