The Hotel was excellent, especially for the price, which included breakfast. The location is outstanding and close to the city center. The staff were very friendly at check-in. The hotel has parking, and the car park is right next to the hotel building. I was in a room with a twin bed, and it was very comfortable. I slept well, and it was a quiet hotel. Everything about the hotel was excellent. However, when I write a review, I try to find areas for improvement, but please understand I would totally stay at this hotel again. The parking is located before the hotel, behind a gate with signage that can be hard to find at night. I struggled to see the parking area and parked on the street at first. You then have to go next door and up a set of stairs to enter the hotel. I am also a bigger guy (6 foot 4 inches and on the heavier side), and the shower in the bathroom was a bit small.

Excellent location in a very quiet area in the center of Prešov. Very friendly and helpful reception. Nice spacious room. Good breakfast.

Beautiful place, great staff, outstanding food, great room especially if you can get a balcony and very comfortable.

The only gripe I have is that when I was about 10 minutes late in my check out I was charged 8 Euro fee... shameful!

Great breakfast, friendly service, and beautiful surroundings.

No air conditioning and right over a cigar pub. So we tried to get cool air in at night, but the noise and smoke from the pub and another bar across the street made it hard to sleep. People talked loudly outside until around 2pm.

- Had 4 black hair on our “new clean” pillow.- The matrac cover had wholes.- Our towels had wholes.- The water didn’t go down in the bath.- The bed is so old that every little move made sound that woke us up.- The toilet seat is broken and moves left and right.- The towel holder is broken, hanging by a thread.- We had no warm water for hours, we couldn’t get a shower.- Two bars in front of and under the hotel, we couldn’t fall asleep until 2am at night because people were drunk and laughed and talked loudly.- The furniture was dirty and material is destroyed.- Cigarette smell in the hotel.- Breakfast is nice (except for the poor quality jogurts and poor quality juices)

Good location - city centre, close to parking and restaurant. Comfortable bed. The room is clean, warm, dry and quiet

A thin trickle of water from the tap in the sink. Tea set consisted only of a kettle and a tray - no cups or tea/coffee. There was a black streak under the toilet cistern. At breakfast there were tablecloths of varying degrees of linen on every table

Cuba Libre bar downstairs on Jarkova is a ‘noise risk’ when you stay during holidays…

The location in the city center was fantastic. The building itself had a lot of old-world charm. Despite its age, the hotel was well-maintained.

The hotel showed signs of wear and tear. It felt like the hotel may have seen better days.

The restaurant at Carpe Diem is FABULOUS and the prices are so unreal- very affordable. We were entertained by a guitarist and had an excellent three course meal with a glass of wine for only about 20 euros.

The location is very good. In walking distance to the city centre.

No AC in the room. The windows are not sound-proof which made sleeping a bit difficult as there is a bar next to the hotel...

There was no hot water for more than a day due to some issue. The problem was we were not informed about that and nobody let us know when it would be fixed...

Breakfast was OK, normal, did not have much time to check all the perks and features :) , but I would say that they met our expectations. Room was nice and clean.

Hmm, the little fridge was too loud at our room. This little thing was making some quite strong noises and cracks over the night. When the fridge has started and then of course, when it turned off, it was quite noisy and accompanied by strange sounds. I personally think that its best days are behind it.Then there was the bed. To be exact, the bed base. We were sleeping and suddenly, BOOM, one plate of the bed base shot out and detached from the rest. We were like, OMG, what is going on???Our stay was not long, but I got the feeling that one of the top hotels in Prešov is slightly getting old and not maintained as it should be. However, perhaps I am just too critical and we received a room in this condition while others are top-notch. After all, it was only one day, so we did not pay too much attention to it.
