Just 20 minutes from the center of Belfast, The Strangford Arms is a renovated Victorian hotel, offering elegant rooms and free private parking. With an award-winning restaurant, there is also free Wi-Fi. The refurbished rooms are stylishly decorated in natural tones, with modern art and colorful cushions. All rooms feature tea and coffee facilities and an LCD satellite TV. Ironing facilities and wake-up calls are also available. LeWinters Restaurant serves an international menu using fresh, local produce, and a children’s menu is also available. The LeWinters Bar offers large-screen TVs and regular live entertainment in contemporary surroundings. Situated in Newtownards, at the foot of Scrabo Tower, The Strangford Arms Hotel is just a 10-minute drive from Bangor. The hotel was very comfortable and relaxing and the food was great. The staff were all friendly especially Paul who made me feel so welcome and took the time to chat and get to know me as he did with all the guests.
Good parking Easy check in, reception staff very friendly Bar area nice
Clean comfy room. Friendly helpful staff. Onsite parking.

Bathroom smelled bad Rooms very small Breakfast wasn't much of a variety Breakfast staff not very friendly
The price of the room. Over 100 for a single room. The breakfast was poor (the cooked breakfast had little choice with poor quality. After the second day I ate only the poached eggs on toast).
