Superior Shores Resort

Location. The view of the lake. Fireplace. Distance from town.

Poor directions from main lodge to get to our building. Quite a bit of deferred maintenance items needing attention. Mattress was in need of replacement. A list of eating places and area attractions would have been nice. Tv was little small. The price.

Staff was very helpful and courteous

No lounge and kitchen closed at 9pm

Gym/fitness room morning access limit to 8 am...

The fire pits and access to the beach and access to the pools till 11 pm was very nice and that they had air mattress available for extra bed .

The old carpet in the halls and the bleach stains on the carpets and access tiles on ceiling that had holes and black stains to them . Over the hotel was very nice staff were very helpful and very nice . Already have next trip booked for next year.

Smores, bike rentals, lawn games, proximity to the lake and Two Harbors

It was quiet and cozy

We were supposed to have a balcony, but then we’re asked to go to the other side of the hotel the view is still nice, but a balcony would’ve been amazing

That our stay was brief.

Extremely small counter/sink area, one of two light bulbs in bathroom burned out, some of the metal trim had more rust than paint on it, one side of the bed had no electrical outlets, rendering the lamp & my computer cord useless.

The location is perfect!

The bathroom ceiling was peeling. Bathroom fan was extremely noisy. Thae toilet splashed out when you flushed. The towels would not dry. The mattress was uncuncomfortable. Smelled a little musty. We requested housekeeping on day 3 but never got it.

The location is great because it¿s close to the lake shore.

The hotel looks like it never renovated since it was built so it looks and feels like something from the 70s. Dark and unwelcoming. The maintenance level is poor with carpets that probably never had deep cleaning, clogged drainage and terrible mattress.

Nice location!!

The ¿water view¿ I paid extra for had a tree right in front of the window blocking the view. It was touching the window when I opened it. When talked to staff they blew me off. Disappointing

It was very clean. It is dated, rustic and needs a refresh but was surprisingly very clean!! Complimentary s¿mores kits were nice little treat. The suites/rooms on the lake view side appeared very nice.

Front desk staff were not helpful, check-in and check-out was not efficient. My first impression was not good. Beds not comfortable. Only positive is that it exceeded my expectations on cleanliness.

Location, pool, hot tub, sauna, views of Lake Superior

Shabby in places, dated, I had to drive to another building to get to my room, dusty, I asked for an additional blanket and was told they weren¿t available as they were all being washed ¿¿

Great, quiet location right on Lake Superior. Friendly staff. The hotel had all the amenities needed.

The resort fee and pet fee added a significant price increase to the original quote.

The atmosphere and location

The views were amazing, the hot tub outside was perfect

The hot tub did run much cooler than it should and on multiple occasions we left pretty chilly. Also called for extra pillows around 10am, they weren¿t delivered til 9:30 pm, which is very late for us.

We loved the lake view, the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub, the bonfires and free s'mores, and the friendly staff.

The carpeting in the main lodge was dated. The hotel did not offer breakfast.

Hallway are dark. Common areas need some work. Not maintained well.

morning staff crabby. restaurant menu not what I remember(comfort food like fish and chips, hamburgers, etc.) and only open from 5-9 and no room service or take out.

Clean, friendly staff, peaceful, beautiful views.

Room was a bit dated, old loud refrigerator. Outdoor patio not rain-proof.
