Toyoko Inn Shin takaoka eki Shinkansen Minami guchi

The location are superb. Right accross the shinkansen station and bus terminal. The laundry machine well maintained, often hotel in japan dryer took long to dry because low maintainance, but Toyoko machine dry my heatech items in 30mins.

Very hard bed and pillow. Narrow room. Basic bfast.

Close to shin takaoka station, lots of bus and some train to get to takaoka, most of tourists buses stop right in front of hotel entrance, 10 minutes walk to a big shopping centre and shopping and food to eat specially good in winter! I prefer shin takaoka than takaoka! Breakfast were not overcrowded like their other hotels for the two nights I stayed!

The Breakfast was above average. However, the overflow of guests during breakfast created a heightened state of being overcrowded. Location is wonderful. Shinkansen station and world class shopping mall are virtually next door.

Breakfast has room for improvement. The issue of being overcrowded to the point where guests are standing up with tray in hand searching for a seat should be addressed as soon as possible.

I like that breakfast was Japanese style. I was very happy to have the opportunity to taste different Japanese dishes. The lady’s that serve the food were very nice. Also, hotel was close to the train station, 7 eleven and a huge mall.

Breakfast was served in the lobby, so it was very crowded.

Being close to 新高岡駅 is a big plus. I also liked the free streaming services available on the TV in my room (I spent some time watching an anime on ABEMA). It gave me, as a foreigner, an idea of what kind of things are available in Japan to watch.

I would say it is a little pricy. My friend who lives in Toyama Prefecture recommended this for me which is why I chose here.

I know there was no choice and I had to book a smoking room. But it was stank.

It's near aeon mall , at the room you can see the snow mountain view!

Very limit breakfast choices, we woke up very early but no any bread and milk.

Near to Shinkansen station and Aeon shopping more. Just across is the bus station. You can take the world heritage bus to Goyoma or Shiragawago. Nice view from hotel. Provide complimentary breakfast. Room size is reasonable with king size bed for 2 persons. Like the automated check in and out.

Just in front Shin Takaoka station, less than a minute walk. Room are spacious enough for a short stay. Is very convenient if you plan to move by train. Breakfast and facilities also very good. Clean and new, price very reasonable.

Very near to the train station and mall. Large park within walking distance.

Room slightly small if you have large luggages.

The Toyoko INN Shin Takaokaeki hotel was located right next to a major shopping centre, tourist bus stops and the Shinkansen station.The Room was immaculate, it had most needs travelers needs included with other facilities located in the lobby The Japanese focused breakfast was delicious and the nearby 7 11 would meet any others dietary needs.

Coffee was included with breakfast but not provided for rooms. The two types of tea made up for it.

Convenient location on my way to Inami City with an easy check-in and check-out. Staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean and just right for the two of us. An added benefit was the fantastic breakfast the morning after.

No negatives. Will stay again.

It locate in the best location. Easy to find the hotel.

Very limited parking lots. No drop off for luggages drop and pick up.

The location is very convenient and located right next to Shin Takaoka station. I was planning to visit the World Heritage Villages (Shirakawago, Ainokura and Suganuma ) and having the bus stop right next to the hotel was very convenient to plan a day trip. I haven’t tried the hotel dining services but there’re plenty of options in the nearby AEON mall which is a few minutes walk from the property. The rooms were spotless and tidy and I did not find any issue with any of their facilities. The hotel staff were very kind and friendly to accommodate my requests and I sincerely appreciate their kindness and professionalism. If I have to come back again to this region, I would definitively stay at this place.

No make up bed for 3 days.

I like the room. It was organized & neat. The room is quite big for a japanese hotel standard which is quite minimalist.

The breakfast & i dont like was that they need to clean the room after 3 days stay.
