- Although advertised as rustic, this is the unit not the decor. It failed to mention that solar lighting means no electrical plug in for any electricals, shared upgraded potapotty with unpotable water for washroom and no shower or washing facilites
- Being deceived when I book a hotel room, only to arrive to the hotel and am informed that we only have a room, no washroom, water or electricity. This was not mentioned at time of booking. Staff says if we don't like it we can leave. Not professional.
- Some amenities were very basic - old TVs, plumbing fixtures that were a bit finicky. But that was expected. Most people stay only one night. It's not meant to be a longer term accommodation.

Being away from the centre of town is actually a good thing. Quiet when it should be, no problems coming and going, options for taking the visit in different directions. Owner and staff also tried harder, I think, to serve.
