I had ants in the bed and the toilet room smelled of sewage. The window to the bedroom was single glass and so the noise and lights from the cars were a constant annoyance

The lady on reception was pleasant and friendly on arrival.

The room overlooked the rail line and the noise was unacceptable. The opposite side runs along the Pacific Hwy, so I imagine similar regarding the noise issue. The windows and balcony were good to have, but the sound from the adjoining rooms travelled and it was disturbing. I stayed under 20 minutes and left when I realised I would not get any sleep. As a solo female traveller, I also didnt feel safe in the location however that was not the fault of the establishment. The room was neat enough but tired and very small. The bathroom was also very small. There were good facilitites in the in-room kitchen and a laundry on site. Also a lift to make traversing easy and a secure carpark under the building.

The room was very clean which was great, not a huge room but comfy enough for one person. I was staying here for work so didn't need to spend a lot of time in the room. Its a perfect location right near the main area of shops and cafes in Gordon.

The initial arrival was a little underwhelming/interesting as I didn't see a single staff member in the building the entire week. I did meet a lovely woman there who I believe was a cleaner when parking my car in the garage below. The bottom floor of the hotel feels very "lived in" and smelt like burnt toast. The front door is always open and it seems anyone can enter and also use the elevator to any floor. My room was very clean but did seem to have a lingering smell from a previous guest. The kitchen area was a nice addition and very useful. The bathroom was clean and sufficient although the water pressure was pretty average and the water temperature would change drastically without actually turning the tap. Overall it was a fine stay but I would probably want to try elsewhere before returning.

The location. Was good . Busstop out the front and shops nearby . I didn’t mind the trains going past as I like trains and had travelled down from Ballina, Urunga and Port Stephens to Sydney on trains and coaches . I liked the wildlife there . Reminded me a bit of where I live at GymeaBay.

It’s a bit noisy with the trains very close by going past although I didn’t mind it too much as I like trains . I slept well as had been travelling for a week on trains , buses and coaches and had earplugs. My husband found it a bit hard to sleep .

Staff was great! The rooms are small, but totally OK for one night. We had fun at the nearby mini golf track

It was okay.

Very small room. Very, very, small bed. Some of the hotel is used by long term residents.

The room was comfortable and clean. Everything was included. The lift and underneath parking was excellant

The noise trains ,late at night and early morning. 2

Great room with all the things you need. Wifi, Toaster, Kettle, Microwave and plates and utensils, iron etc. Not far walk to Woolworths, shops and restaurants . But there was a burger stand about 50 metres away called chubby buns. Worried about it but from the amount of people let me know it was good so I just went there and got dinner each night.

The cleaness, the mattress, bathroom shower, and aircon. staff are super nice and accommodating

A bit noisy next to the train line but I had earplugs so came prepared and slept well anyway.

Parking might be a bit tight if you have a large car. But not bad.

Close to train like but you get used to it

Location was perfect for where we needed to be, small studio with balcony which was all we needed for one night. I didn't realise how close the train line was! Literally 20m away - was very glad to realise there was track works on that weekend!

Accommodating Staff and late check-ins. Close to shops and transport.Rooms very clean and tidy and beds are double size but comfy.

Traffic or Rail noise can be too much for light sleepers. Better to sleep on road side if so.

Room a tiny bit small

The staff were friendly

The property is definitely not a 5 star property. It is more like 2-3. I was very disappointed with what the place was like when we arrived. In fact I couldn’t believe it was what I booked. The room was small and faced the busy railway tracks. Luckily the staff offer a room with an adjoining room so we had more space for three adults.

Comfortable. Good sized room. within walking distance of Gordon strip shopping centre
