location is good, common areas are clean, rates are reasonable

Property is good. Cleaning staff quite noisy and holding up the elevator for a long time. Microwave cannot be used before 8am because the dining area is closed. I suggest you bring out the microwave oven for those guests who are up early and would like to use it. I waited for 8am and still no one was around to open the dining area. I had to heat my food in the convenience store. It was very inconvenient for me.

The location of it being close to the markets and convenient stores.

The power kept going out in my room when not using many of the wall plugs.

Loved that the room had a washing machine and was spacious family twin. Location was perfect for me to walk 10min to Seogwipo Maile Ollie market or longer 30min walk (or you can take bus) to the 2 waterfalls. Also convenient to take bus to Seongpanak hiking trail or Jeju Airport. Parking available if one needs (I didn’t) and the staff was helpful with assistance of Google translate. Also really appreciated that they were environmentally friendly (ie only place I’ve been that separated food waste recycling and garbage).

A good central location on the southern coast, and nice island-life vibe compared to Jeju City area. You can easily see Jusangeolli cliffs, Oedolgae sea stack, Cheonjiyeon waterfall, and Jeongbang waterfall, Saeyeongyo, Hwanguji, and Seogwipo Maeil Olle market nearby. Hotel is a simple and comfortable place to rest at end of a day sightseeing.

The breakfast offered had sparse options and was self-prepare and cleanup, ended up not utilizing this amenity.

Central location, close to many restaurants and local traditional market.Spacious room, clean with big kitchen near reception areas where you can cook your meal.

Check in is only until 10 we had a flight delay I was scared . But the staff waited for us . Just be aware

Hot room, air con not turned on until April.Old furnishings, but relatively clean. Wet room bathroom, so could only use the shower at low pressure. Hand towels for bath towels only, but changed every day. Limited English at reception, but helpful staff

Overall, an experience that can be avoided.

2 out of 3 nights we had to park our car outside the hotel, along the road or a nearby public car park and the hotel did not say this when I booked. I wouldn’t have booked if I knew as it is very inconvenient for guest with rental car. Instead of big bath towel, we were provided with 2 small face towels. Unusual and we are not use to it. There is a little pantry in the room with a full size washing machine which we did not use. This reduces the walking space in the room. The shower head was damage, and the water pressure was strong causing the water to spray everywhere wetting our change in the toilet.

Great place to stay if you intend to do the Olle trails. There is a common kitchen for you to prepare yr breakfast/lunch box. Restaurants and bakeries are just a short walk away. Rooms are clean and we had a washing machine! It is a bonus as you can wash yr clothes after the hikes

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms were simple and clean. I liked having a washing machine in the room so we could do our laundry dry after the long walks. I would prefer a larger towel instead of having two small towels

Great price, great location, friendly staff, very comfortable room.

Near the market and public transport.

A bit more dated than photos. No flexibility to check in early even though I requested to pay extra. Kept repeating that it’s the “rules”.

Very comfortable rooms and a great location in Seogwipo. The room came equipped with a large smart TV and washing machine which was very convenient as we are backpacking. We could have honestly stayed longer than 5 nights. Highly recommend if you're after a comfortable hotel.

Parking was not sufficient. Some days would need to park along road side or nearby carpark. Carpark lot was also very narrow

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and was happy I chose it. I felt at home in my room which was spacious and peaceful. It had good natural light and was well ventilated. Everything was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked fine. Each day I was provided with fresh towels and water - but there is also a water dispenser on the reception floor in case you don’t want to use single-use plastic bottles. I liked that the hotel also offered breakfast, though I didn’t take this option. Also they sell a variety of local craft beers which can be difficult to find in other shops. The location was good for me as I was on foot. It was near to bus stops as well as places within the city. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall I had a very good stay and would definitely recommend the Hotel Rest for any stay in Seogwipo City. Thank you to all the team for making it comfortable and memorable for me.

The location, the hotel was near the waterfalls and was easy to find.The bed sheets were clean, and even if a pillow had a stain, they gave another one really quickly.

There was no detergent with the washing machine, and the lobby doesn't sell them.Also there was no drying machine.

Great location, spacious room, washing machine. You can use the kitchen downstairs, microwave, toasters etc. You can pay a couple of pounds for break and help yourself and cook toast, eggs, cereal, tea and coffee. Perfect place!

Room maintenance every day from 10am to 3pm and the gave us new towels. The location is walkable to Seogwipo Olle Market.
