Not sound proof and very centrally located meaning you should absolutely pack ear plus. The lighting in the room could be better.

The location is absolutely fantastic, it's as central as possible.The staff is welcoming and helpful.The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean (see exception in "cons" section).We liked the remote-controller fan, incense, insect repellent, body lotion, drinking water and other room "extras".The transport to the restaurant was the best! "Las Hamacas", the restaurant where the included breakfast is at, had really good food, especially the "extra pay" menu and its location right next to the beautiful stretch of white sand leading to "Punta Musquito" was a great addition.

I found the overall price to be quite high, but given that it was "New Years", "High Season", central location and other factors can explain this.The water pressure in the shower was very low and at times it felt like someone is just watering you like a human plant with a nice sprinkle of water. We understand it's an overall Holbox issue but it might be solveable with pumps or other solutions. It also doesn't really align with the bath and the bubble bath they provided, as it would take 5h to fill the bath.Additionally, the bath/shower itself was not clean at all, it seemed to accumulate some black gunk (I wouldn't just to say mold, but its likely to be it). We weren't too sensitive to it and the cleaning crew cleaned as much as possible in the next cleaning session (I'd like to assume).We would have also liked if they provided earplugs as our room was facing the street and was very noisy. We didn't care about the noise as we knew it's typical for a central location, but assumed they would provide earplugs.

Attentive staff, clean rooms, towels provided, right in the center of Holbox. Breakfast arrangement with the beach club is excellent.

Make sure to put on insect repellent at night. We got eaten alive!

All the amenities you would need is at this hotel. Room wise probably isn’t the most aesthetic hotel compared to what you have on the island however the rooms are fully equipped. In my opinion, the hotel looked stunning but most of all the customer service was impeccable. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!!! They even have incense in the rooms to help you relax & a carafe where it’s encouraged to fill up with water whenever you like. It definitely is exactly what the name says siesta and just the whole vibe of the place was incredible. The staff are one of a kind the buggies pick you up and take you in for breakfast. The beach club Hamacas where you get breakfast is so popular for a reason it’s great you get to stay there the whole day if you like the beaches right in front of you and you get a mill for free as well as discount on any meals you get throughout the day !!! Hotel Siesta doublecheck every morning what time you’d like to get picked up for your convenience and the fact that they are so accommodating as a solo Traveler I felt so safe and looked after. I genuinely so sad that I didn’t stay for longer because I had other plans on my trip but had I known how in love I would’ve felt, with the hotel and Isla Holbox would’ve stayed !!! Ramon the hotel driver was a delight such a kind person and always ready to take you where you need to go!

Literally cannot fault it

Everything. The customer service and communication was amazing, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We arranged tours via them as well, I recommend the 3 island tour. They provide transport to las Hamacas where breakfast is and that was amazing, some of the best breakfasts I've had and so much choice (pictures attached). It's on a beautiful part of the beach as well, we ended up staying down there most days as the restaurant and setting was lovely. The room was comfortable and clean and the shower was really hot which was great. Great location in the town area and so close to the beach.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it. The staff was exceptionally kind, helpful, and always available through WhatsApp, making it incredibly easy to get assistance whenever needed. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of the city and close to the beach, which made everything easily accessible. My room was spacious, quiet, and spotlessly clean, providing a very comfortable and relaxing environment. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise – it was delicious and well worth the short taxi ride each morning, with a taxi always ready to take us there. Overall, a fantastic experience with great service and perfect location.

The staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The room was nice, the beds very comfortable. We were given beach towels to use and able to swap out every day. The taxi to and from the beach was a great perk! Overall was a great stay, and central location in town. The breakfast was delicious!

Our bathroom was quite small. The beach club was great however you had to arrive early to get the beach chairs as there were only a few available for free for the Hotel Siesta residents.

The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. As one of the better value highly-rated places on the islands, Hotel Siesta is a good option. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Great location!

The bed was super comfortable, and the room had a great vibe overall.The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The hot shower was a nice touch, and everything in the room worked well. The only thing missing was a mini fridge, which would have been convenient, but it wasn’t a major issue.Breakfast was a highlight—delicious avocado and salmon toast paired with fresh juice! For the price, this hotel is an excellent choice, offering comfort and great service. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very clean, helpful staff and easy to arrange activities/ breakfast transport

Everything is beyond expectations. Service at Siesta, the Hamacas restaurant has amazing food and the best beach in Holbox. I hope we can return soon.
