The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was nicely decorated.

The check-in and checkout process was a bit slow.

Clean, new, staff was courteous.

Water temperature in shower was not steady. The water temperature would go from hot to cold in a short amount of time. The phone was a cheap type. A bar or restaurant that operated late into the evening would be good.

The concierge staff was helpful and fast in service. The gentlemen work at the bar/cafe at the night shift is so great and provide very goos service.

Check in was very slow. The smell at my room was terrible & the shower has mold & not clean. No tooth brush or past where available when I received the room & when requested they gave me the reaction that they already provided I am requesting extra !!although nothing was in the room. . The cloth steamer in the room is terrible, it doesn’t work properly.

The fact that I had to pay a deposit for potential damages which was not mentioned in the reservation! I just get an e-mail about this 1 day before.Water at the pool was very cold.

Location is safe and private. Spacious hotel.

They didn’t respect the check in time I arrived to the hotel at 1:30 pm and check in time was supposed to be at 3:00 the receptionist informed me that there will be delay in check in time for 15 minutes I entered my room at 5:00pm they ruined my trip and experience in barcelona will not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not go back for sure

Luxury feeling, nice design, very spacious

If you don't park in their parking lots (30 eur/day), you need to park on the nearby street - but that place is a heaven for car thieves - do not park there!!!! We can our car broken in and police doesn't care about it. There was a lot of broken glass on ground from how many cars were broken in.

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing.There was a receptionist named David whose attitude was unprofessional and unhelpful. He refused to assist us and communicated in a rude and dismissive manner, which made us feel unwelcome.Front desk staff should be supportive and respectful, as they represent the hotel. Unfortunately, this interaction had a very negative impact on our stay, and because of it, I would not choose to stay here again.

Prices, things were too high. Guest didn’t make you feel comfortable being in their country. Being too far from everything. We took Ubers and the prices were $40 and up there and back. Nothing is close by to do

Overall, my experience was average to good — the location was not bad and convenient, and the value for money was medium However, one thing really ruined it for me: a guy named David at the reception was extremely rude and openly racist. His behavior was unprofessional and unpleasant, especially toward Arab guests.The management should really pay attention to this, because the rest of the staff were polite and helpful, but one person like him can ruin the entire image of the hotel.

1/5 — Terrible Experience with Random Charges and Unhelpful Staff

I strongly don’t recommend SLS Hotel Barcelona. My experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. They randomly take money from your card whenever they want, without any clear explanation. During my stay, they charged 200 euros per day as a “deposit” for absolutely nothing, which I’ve never seen in any top hotel around the world.Even worse, after checking out, around 10 hours later, they charged my card again for no reason. When I contacted customer support, they were completely useless — no explanation, no solution, and no sense of responsibility.To make things worse, at checkout they even tried to charge me twice. This level of disorganization and disrespect for guests is unacceptable.I’ve stayed at many high-end hotels globally, and I’ve never experienced such poor handling of payments or customer care. Avoid this place unless you want unnecessary stress and random charges on your credit card.

in the website it was written there are two swimming pools indoor and outdoor, but they didn’t have indoor and also the other swimming pool were with cold water while they have wroted that swimming pool are with warm water If you want to go here for the swimming, I would not recommend it because of the cold water And in the room that haven’t put drinking water

It was clean and the staff were nice!

I chose this hotel over all the rest because the hot tub and rooftop pool but I wasn’t informed until I arrived that it was closed. The hotel is also next to some kind of power plant, so it had a weird odor/smell in the hotel and in the surrounding areas.

The room is clean and spacious, the bed is comfortable, the pool is very beautiful, and the service is excellent.

The hotel is located far from the city center. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant odor in the lobby, similar to sewage, which I reported to the staff but no action was taken. In addition, the deposit policy of €100 per night should be reconsidered. To date, my deposit has still not been refunded. I strongly recommend paying the deposit in cash rather than by credit card
