Hotel Tres Leones

The hotel is located close to the train station, bus stop, and the beach. The area is quiet and offers a beautiful view. I booked this hotel very last minute and had no expectations at all, but for the price, it turned out to be very comfortable. The room was cleaned every day, and the towels were changed daily as well. The room is not very spacious, but it is cozy and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and was nice and cold.Around the hotel, there are small minimarkets, cafés, restaurants, and laundromat, also small church. Most of them are family-run and not very large, but you can find everything you need there. If you want a more local experience without being too far from the city, this is the right place to stay.

One downside is that the restaurant is located on the ground floor and shares the same area as the check-in desk, with no clear separation between the reception and the restaurant/bar cashier. We arrived during lunchtime, and the atmosphere was quite hectic. Although the staff did their best to accommodate us, they were also busy with restaurant duties, so we had to wait a little longer to check in.

Staff were very direct. As it's mainly a restaurant staff were busy. Fortunately I understood about using the fire exit on Monday morning as the Restaurant and therefore the normal exit were shut

The size was small, the duvet hadn't got a cover, there was just the normal sheet and it seemed unsanitary. The windows weren't large, so there wasn't enough natural light from the outside. I hadn't got a remote control for the heating, because they were closed for one month and.. whatever, that was the answer I received, and I needed to press the bottom. What it is ok, but a bit uncomfortable.I also ordered a menú, black rice which was hard, but eatable. So in general the food was ok. They have Sugus candies to serve yourself.

No clean room. Shawor was use before use and not cleaned. Everywhere was black hair even in the bath. Because we are traveling wit kids was not nice.But was nice they have good WF and we watch Netflix. Thanks you.

You could see the ocean from the property (but it was across the highway and a set of train tracks)

- the room was not as pictured, it was half the size - the water alternated from scalding hot to freezing cold without notice - the room was so tiny that two people could not pass each other; one had to sit on the bed for the other to move- the bed was horribly hard- the price was no less than other properties we have stayed at in the area where facilities were much better and rooms were much bigger - it’s noisy with the busy street outside and the restaurant below - the shower drain smelled of sewer - air conditioning only worked with power/room card so it was awfully hot when we arrived/returned to room

Arrived on Monday when their bar is closed and there was no indication as to where the reception was. No sign or obvious bell to ring, gave impression of being closed down.

Exceptional stay at Tres Leones. Excellent food, ideal location! The bed is comfortable, the shower and air conditioning all work well! We really like this place! The personnel is very friendly and does the best! The room was exceptionally clean and we had a side view of the sea..The location is ideal, so close to the train station and the beach! I recommend you to reserve the table, lots of people come to eat their delicious meals! Thank you Tres Leones!

The team at Hotel Tres Leones is great, and the food is impeccable!!! I've stayed here multiple times and cannot recommend it enough. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean. I highly recommend staying here while in villasar!

The hotel is nice and the staff too. They made the check-in even at a late night possible for us. The hotel has all what needed for a basic stay. Also, this place is in Vilassar de Mar, which is close to the best pubs and discos of Spain.

If you want to visit Barcelona from this place, be aware that you need to spend some money and time on travelling to city center.

location was excellent right across from the water. Restaurant had very good food. staff were very helpful.

The owners were very welcoming and the room & bathroom nice & clean. We were extremely happy, that the restaurant in the hotel was open. Exactly what you want after a long day… When we got our food we were just overwhelmed!! It was exceptional ? The seafood (and we have tried a lot) was one of the best (Dorade supreme!!)

Only one bathroom for a lot of rooms. No separate shower. Shower really bad, didn't even want to go in it. Terrible smell in bathroom.

Friendly and helpful staff. We had to move to a different room after a few days and they were very helpful.Cleanness of room and the building.Food at the restaurant was really tasty.Smart TV that I was able to connect my phone to it.

There was no table on the 4 people room we stayed, however there was some on other smaller rooms.Price for the main dish, the traditional Paella could have been cheaper.

We didn't like the surcharge of about 100 EUR by reason of us (2 guests booked) having 1 more kid of ours with us whom we did not specify as a guest separately (we did ask for a baby bed though, probably that's why we didn't get charged another 100 EUR?)... The reasoning for the surcharge was that more guests use more water and electricity etc. Yes, and they eat more at their restaurant as well, so not sure why one more shower is so off balance with the extra meal. In another hotel in Barcelona, and in countless other hotels, they just charge for the room and that's it; that would have been nicer. Perhaps kids break things, who knows. But anyway, nice hotel, the staff was kind, the meals were delicious. Free parking street nearby is nice, but beaches exist that are ways better than the nearby one. All larger food stores are a couple of kms off, but it has some smaller so-called supermarkets (micro groceries) in the vicinity.

Booking is mentioned as "beach view". Not sure if it's just a general description of the place or the room. but our view was to the back alley...so something went wrong.

Was very loud through the weekend. People were coming back to the rooms almost all night till earlie morning we couldn't sleep at all.
