Lexen Hotel - Hollywood Walk of Fame-Universal Studios

The room was very spacious.

The hotel had minimal towels, the staff was unfriendly, unhelpful, incompetent, uneducated, and unprofessional. The bathroom door handle was just hanging on, one screw is all it took to fasten it properly, and instead it came right off and cut my finger.

Very clean, greeted well by staff, easy check in and check out. Great location.

It was not a great view out the window but still would come back

The location is great due to the easy walk to the Hollywood Bowl.

The bed is about a foot off the floor and if your older a little hard to get up from. The area has a lot of traffic noise all night.

Location was great. Staff was helpful but very understaffed. Bathrooms were clean and reasonably stocked.

Room smelled BAD! Smoke/ disinfectant to cover up smell. A/C was moldy/mildewy. Street noise was LOUD. Many burn marks on the furniture. Each piece of furniture had multiple burn marks. Parking was expensive and extremely limited.

When confronted about the CAMERAS that were found in the room that I was staying in the MANAGER acted as if he had no idea and that there wasn't cameras, when I showed him he claimed The Fire Marshal installed them!!! 6 smoke alarms in 1 room?

Cleanliness and staff

I guess the description of my room was misleading, it said double room and I thought that was 2 rooms and some pictures showed 2 rooms but it was just one room, had no microwave or sitting area to work on a laptop.

Modern and clean, only a 5 min walk from the Hollywood Bowl

Our room was quiet but a few would not be. Ask to be at back of hotel. No views and lots of homeless in the neighborhood

The cleanliness was superb. The front desk staff was very pleasant, helpful, respectful, great attitude and with outstanding customer service.

The parking was tight. It was hard to pull out of the space.

Stayed 4 nights, very nice room, bathroom was wide with all amenities included :) very close to universal and touristic areas! Coffee machine was excellent and clean ladies very kind, would recommend!

I stayed here as I was visiting the outskirts of LA so the location worked well for me. The place was comfortable and the bathroom was really nice, but the bedroom floor was not vacuumed in the corners. There’s also a fair amount of street noise so consider bringing earplugs.

Tevin and Kiki, the two receptionist, took such good care of me and fullfilled all my special requests. it‘s like coming home.

Bed(ding) could be softer.

It’s nice close to the walk of fame. And it wasn’t very pricey. Worth it to be honest.

In the closet it seems like there’s rust or something popping out of the wall, it’s not a little bit but it’s a very large piece. I think the room was 211

Amazing staff. Kiki and Tevin (hope I’m spelling these correctly) so helpful over my stay. Good clean, modern, comfortable rooms with everything you need.

Good property, clean and adequate

It took 40 minutes to check out because no one was at the front desk. They had left a phone number to call of which we called twice—no one answered. Another staff member, we think the cleaning staff, had to track down the front desk person who was off property. We were checking out at a normal time so this was nuts.

Perfect location walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard

I didn't like that cars were double parked so when it came time to leave, I had to wait for the guest that was parked behind me to move their vehicle
