Hiyori Ocean Resort Okinawa

good hotel facilities, good breakfast, great restaurant for dinners, great view from ocean view rooms

no closeby beach (ocean resort?), no easy transportation nearby, still they charge for parking, little flexibility for unplanned requests

We had to cancel the second night under agreement with the owner & I believe we have only been refunded for 1 room when we had paid for 2

I would like a refund for both rooms

Great rooms, good swimming pool, friendly and competent staff, cultural events in the hotel

Main restaurant wasn’t great. Breakfast was limited and lunch was a recast of breakfast. Needs to be a lot better. The hotel is somewhat isolated from the town.

Rushed in tepanyaki restaurant which spoiled the mealTaxi to the airport arranged by the hotel took a major detour at significant increased cost

The size of the room, so clean, spacious bathroom, and the view. The breakfast was lovely and relaxing.

Staff did not adequately speak English which made the entire stay a challenge. Many tried, which was appreciated. Essentially, there is only one dining choice. The meal choices don’t change within a weeks’ time and the in room dining is equally limiting. We stayed for a week and often had to drive off site to dine while many neighboring hotels have multiple choices. The website suggested renting bikes. We rented them but the tires were flat and staff had no bike path map to direct guests.

The rooms were very spacious with plenty of room for us to relax, whether sleeping, sitting on the couch, or enjoying the view from the balcony. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast buffet was delicious with many options to not have to eat the same thing every day during out 5 day stay. The evening music around the pool just outside the lobby was a nice addition to the already beautiful sunset view.

The busy road just in front of the hotel is the only thing keeping this from being a perfect 10! The road could get quite noisy and was hard to filter out when trying to sit on the balcony and enjoy the early morning or late evening views of teh ocean.

Beautiful hotel, the pools and spa was amazing. Gorgeous views of the ocean and sunset. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good.

If you are staying here, you will need a car as it is not by public transportation.

The breakfast was so delicious, so many choices to choose from. The hotel had amazing views of both the Ocean and woods at the back of the hotel. The room was very spacious, equipped with amenities like hair dryer, curling iron, washing machine and kitchenette. The hotel even has a gym with good choices of work out equipment, so it was such a pleasure to stay at Hiyori. The staff made us feel welcomed and at home.

The hotel provided 2 pillow choices, one softer and one harder pillow but we weren't used to them, would be nice to have more options.

The staff is really helpful, due to its our first time to take the golf bag during this trip. But the staff is very passion to take care our luggage and introduce the facilities very clearly. We love the room size and all the furnitures. There have welcome drink during chek in time. Also have beer, soft drink and Popsicle. The breakfast have many choices and delicious for sure. They also offer few kinds of local ingredients. During our staying, we ordered in room dining dinner- Pork Hotpot, ots really nice and the price is valuable. We willl definitely come back again :)

Breakfast choice was good, room size and in-room shabu shabu was good. Gym seems a reasonable size for the motel.

Small pool, lots of highway noise, ocean view looks over highway. Long line for breakfast. Not close to beach or other restaurants so limited things to do. Overall expensive for the facilities.

Nice pools, great views, good food. Staff was helpful & friendly. short walk to bus stops & beaches.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly, attentive and willing to help with anything that we needed. Everyone from the front desk people to the landscaping folks great you each and every time they see you. The facility is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and has an awesome view of the South China Sea (west side of Okinawa) from pretty much any room you stay in. The pools look very nice and clean as well.

The location is a little bit out of the way from the main attractions of the island but that is fine if you want a slightly remote place to stay. There is no turn from the main road into the hotel. You either have to drive a little out of the way through the small town and up a hill through a residential area to get on the south bound lane or you have to manage a small narrow road for a half kilometer with barrier markers on either side of the road to get to a crossing of the main road. No dedicated beach for the hotel.

Has everything for a comfortable workation. parking, kitchen in suite, workspace, gym, spa, jacuzzi, heated pool, high class amenities
