    Pros +

    • Comfy bedClose to Minami Fukuoka train stationWell pricedCleanliness
    • Accessible to the train station & theirnis a convenience store & grocery very near to the hotel. The breakfast is sumptuous.
    • + Close enough to Minami Fukuoka, which can be used to reach Hakata and other important stations+ New set of towels provided every morning without asking+ Bed was comfortable

    Cons -

    • Not much
    • The hallway smells cigarette.
    • - The corridor on 2F has a horrendeous smell. It is beyond simply tobacco at that point, and it seems absolutely nothing was done to deal with that (not a single trace of air freshup or anything to mitigate that stench)- Missing things you would expect from a 3* JP hotel like Hair dryer or electric kettle- Staff talk in Japanese relatively fast even if they know you are a foreigner. I'm at conversational level so it was okay for me but people who struggle in JP will have issue to communicate with the staff since those I've met made literaly 0 efforts rephrasing slowly or using simple JP/English words. -Breakfast is a mixed bag. The location is close enough (somehow they didn't mention where it is located in the leaflet they give you when you check in) and their staff is super friendly and helpful. But the food selection is pretty limited.-Not the hotel fault of course, but keep in mind it is a residential area around that hotel, so there isn't really much to do there aside from resting in your room.

Nice japanese style hotel. With breakfast and onsen

    facilities little old but clean

    6Thuraya K.Posted on: 9-7-2024

The location was close to the city center; the price was very reasonable.

I asked for a nonsmoking room, but I got a smoking room. I was too tired to ask for a change, but I hope other visitors notice this issue.

Good if you plan for stopping over for a night only. Nothing much to see in this place but the area is packed with good restaurants walking-distance! They also have washing machine and dryer here. The front staff I met was an elder-looking man. He communicated in English very well. Pretty sure you won’t be having a hard time communicating in English here.Room size is OK. Small but livable. If you doing a roadtrip, there’s plenty of paid parking lots in the area or even one right on the front of the hotel.

The bed is small if you coming as a couple. The bed’s size is around 4 feet which is considered to be too small for a double bed.

    Breakfast good. Hotel facilities good.

Staff spoke no English and made no effort to explain things, although he did the minimum required to do his job.

    8SimPosted on: 6-9-2024

Room was very clean, and staff gave us new towels and a bottle of water everyday through a bag.You can also visit the onsen beside the hotel for freeThe hotel is very close to Minami-Fukuoka Station and is very convenient to walk to.

The air in the lobby on the 7th floor was very musty as the air conditioning was turned off.

    6PaulPosted on: 6-4-2024

It was quite cheap and the stag were nice. There's a free onsen to use next door if you wish. The staff are very nice and the bed very comfortable

It's fair distance out in an area with nothing much in it. It's just a residential area really. The corridors smelled quite strongly of cigarette smoke and the fixtures and fittings are dated

Good hotel with on-sen for free, nice breakfast, clean, nice staff, good value of money, close to train station and convenient shops surround, very happy to stay here

    7KeefePosted on: 3-20-2024

The hotel was at a good location, walking distance to 2 train stations servicing different lines. They offered free use of the neighbouring onsen/bathhouse which was rather basic but got the job done. The staff were extremely polite and professional, easily the best part of the stay there.

The Wi-Fi signal was good, but the speed was slow - video calls were basically impossible. Also, reconnecting to the network periodically was required. The rooms had a little of a dated feel to them, and loud noises made by people from the outside were heard clearly. It's not the hotel's fault, but something that potential guests should know.

    7LindyPosted on: 9-10-2023

The bed was supersingle size. The pillow was firm. The housekeeper gave fresh towels and bottled water at my door when I put the "Do not disturb" sign at my door.

The onsen was in a separate building so it was a little inconvenient to get to. The building is old and small.

    9DarrylPosted on: 9-8-2023

Parking at reasonable price right out front, all was nice really!

I could only find one power point near the floor by the door, was weird? Had to put kettle on floor and my phone to charge, strange as only one snd by the floor near the door? Not a huge thing but was weird!

    5JoannePosted on: 8-28-2023

Dissapointed I could not get into room earlier - fell asleep on the couch waiting. Breakfast I had to travel to another hotel - breakfast was nice but a shame I had to walk to another place.

    Considerate of earlier checkin

Very nice staff, good room furnishing, close to station

    6SwaraPosted on: 7-20-2023

    onsen

No tea or coffee, onsen in a different building and not open in the mornings

    4UnknownPosted on: 7-12-2023

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The entire hotel smelled awful and damp. The location was a half an hour train ride away from the city and there almost no food options close by. The aircon looked as though it was from the 1980s and would periodically turn itself off for seemingly no reason. And, worst of all, this place was barely within our budget…

    10TakaoPosted on: 5-25-2023

I was able to stay at a very reasonable price in my case. Convenience stores, supermarkets, and the train station are all within walking distance. It takes about 25 minutes to Fukuoka Airport by train. (Transfer to subway at Hakata). You can use the hot spring and sauna in the annex building for free, not in the hotel. Considering the price and location, I would use this hotel again when using Fukuoka Airport instead of the Hakata and Tenjin area. The staff was also very helpful.

    10LauraPosted on: 5-14-2023

Close to subway station, quiet area, friendly staff, very good value for money.
