So much natural light. There are carts which greatly improve moving around the different facilities.

The room doors are made of glass, and there’s no cover. No way to block sunlight in the morning. The hot tub is wood-fired. There’s no temperature control. If it’s too cold, have to get room service to light the fire. If it gets too hot, have to call room service to add cold water. Such a pain to use. It’s not worth paying extra for.

Excellent escape from Joburg - into the quiet nearby! Such a perfect location for relaxation, the spa! alongside a fantastic restaurant - a great team in every division - and the morning drive w MsP was exceptional!

Pretty much everything …. It gives you an escape from the city. Clean and extremely friendly but very professional staff. A special shout out the lady that took us for the gave drive , her name starts with “Pre”…. She made it so special for us.

We couldn’t enjoy our breakfast outside because of the monkeys , so I wish they can look into putting some kind of enclosure to keep them out.

The room was much smaller than it looked in the photos, it’s just a container. The room and the tiny bathroom were not very clean. I had emailed and WhatsApp well in advance asking that the hot tub please be hot upon check in. It was my best friend’s birthday and we wanted the afternoon to enjoy the hot tub. The tub was not hot and it took 3 loads of wood to get it hot. The entire room was completely smoked out in the process and the smell had permeated everything, and was like that for the duration of our stay. By the time the tub was eventually hot, it was dinner time and there was virtually no time to enjoy it. All 3 courses at dinner were very mediocre. The hot stone massages the following day, had no hot stones until 2/3 of the way through the massage, I had to ask twice for hot stone massages as we had booked.

We booked the skyroom and it definitely met our expectation, providing tranquility and comfort. The staff at the Cradle Boutique Hotel made our stay extra special with their welcoming smiles and willingness to assist. I requested a romantic dinner set up to celebrate my wife's birthday, and this was executed with precision- which scored me the "husband of the year" award

The bathtub was not prepared on time, resulting in water taking much longer to get warm.

Room could use a better functioning Aircon/ heater, the room was a bit cold and the heating function of the AC did not work well. Alternatively we would suggest installing a fireplace in specific units.

The staff are INCREDIBLE! The food is delicious and the rooms are very comfortable. Spa treatments are also great!

The only reason the property lost a point (9/10) is because of the Kol Kol (wood-fired hot tub). We booked the Sky Room specifically so that we could use this and were never able to, as the water never got hot. The staff worked very hard trying to get it hot but 6 hours (and lots of wood later) and the water was still barely warm, which meant we couldn’t use it at all as it was cold outside. Had we known, we would have booked a different room with more of a bush view.

The room was clean and spacious, and their room service was quick. The food was delicious and you can see the mountains in the distance whilst you enjoy a scrumptious breakfast. I would recommend this place to anyone, for any celebration

Staff are so friendly and helpful.Location is beautiful and peaceful.Accommodation was spotless and housekeeping very good.Resturant is beautiful with stunning views.

Breakfast experience was terrible. Service was bad. Food was cold. Coffee really cold and not good and we had to pay extra for almond milk and couldn't even get still water at breakfast without paying extra.Nescafe coffee sachets in room with no milk. Called for milk and it took two calls to receive it. Dinner was delicious and service good at dinner. Beautiful rooms

Overall amazing service from all staff, they were extremely friendly and super helpful. The game drive, was refreshing and the Game Driver was exceptionally knowledgeable. Rooms views was breathing taking, rooms were clean and neat. The team ensure the Hot tub was to our satisfaction they went out of their way to ensure we were happy. The Spa team was super friendly and best message in town have not received such welcoming friendly team. Very clean and neat service spa. All Kitchen and Golf Cart drivers were super helpful and friendly. Food presentation and taste was awesome.

The team could not accommodate with early and late check-in/checkout, based on special requests. The reception team that assisted when checking out and taking final payment, costed me extra in bank charges by not informing us that speed point entries must be in SA rands and not Foreign exchange. My final payment had to be reversed and recharged. Hence i was charged 3 times bank charges.

The stuff was amazing, and the fact that it is so remote, we wanted to rest and we got just that. The skyroom is just the best with that jacuzzi.

Limited menu to choose from, we were there for just three nights and we were already running out of breakfast and dinner ideas.

The property needs to find a better outlet for the smoke from the hot tub. It seemed faulty and was suffocating, it made it difficult to relax on the balcony while it was smoking.
