Great hotel, clean and comfortable, breakfast has many options, both inside and outside onsen, gym 24/7 and very large rooms with daily housekeeping.

The staff were friendly and helpful. As an English speaker with limited Japanese, sometimes communication was a challenge, but for the most part it was fine. That is more on me, than staff.

The property is really nice. It is a little ways out of town, so access to dining and activities is a challenge without a vehicle. In the winter, shuttles for skiing are available, just limited.

Great resort with Onsen and indoor pool during winter. Restaurants were good and staff were very attentive.

It’s a little out of the way. Shuttles are available for skiing, but limited in to locations. Planning is important. We had a car, which was helpful.

Beautiful location, new wing rooms were stunning. We had a package delivered to the hotel, and they had it out for us available once we checked in. They went above and beyond with helping us hold our luggage, and call our next host to ask if they could ship it there, and arranged everything for us as needed. The view was right after a big snow storm, so the grounds were white and beautiful, and it was awesome to watch the just-white leaves of the tree during our included breakfast. They then showed us to the bus stop, to make sure we were on our way. The room was spacious and pretty. The bathtub was spectacular, and offered a small balcony, with a view of the mountains. Was perfect to stay before starting the alpine route.

It was great to have other options besides the buffet for breakfast.

I would have appreciated a clearer description of dinner options besides just the buffets. We found out later that we could get Ala carte food from the cafe/bar from 5-10. Different workers conveyed mixed messages about this.

Facilities are clean and offer gym, pool, onsen , laundry. Good access to dams with special taxis. Tip: Area restaurants will require a reservation. Breakfast was ok but could be better.

Dinner buffet was terrible for the price of 6300 and extra 1100 for a beer. Cafe bar are listed as open dont seem to be manned most of the time

The Hotel room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast had a large verity and was well designed.

The gym has no actual function. There are no amenities like other hotels we stayed at on our trip to Japan. We were charged extra for a local phone call made to the car hire company.

Hotel is spacious and quiet. The room is large by Japan standard and comfortable. Hotel is new and well kept. Staff are friendly.

The menu in the restaurant is limited and expensive compared to the quantity served. Hope they have a little more choices as only buffet and few a la carte items available for order.

The property is modern, spacious, new and well decorated. The Onsen is top notch. Modern and big with an outdoor Onsen that faces the trees and partial view of a snow capped mountain.

The dress code around the hotel. Cannot wear Yukata to restaurant and around the hotel except to the Onsen.

stayed here for a snowboarding trip, all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating! the hotel was extremely clean and the onsen was amazing!

Everything was good in this hotel. Very kind and thoughtful staff. They prepared us a simple wedding anniversary cake for free!

Be aware they charge you the full amount when you arrive then the full amount of your stay again when you leave and refund the first amount in 7-10 days after your stay!! The deposit should be $1-100 not the full amount of your stay again.

This hotel offers a cozy and serene retreat in a beautiful forest setting. The beds are comfortable with warm doonas, ensuring a restful sleep. While the rooms and bathrooms may feel small by European standards, they are quite spacious for Japan and impeccably clean. The atmosphere is peaceful, perfect for relaxation.The standout feature is undoubtedly the onsen, particularly the outdoor one, which creates a magical experience—especially in the snow. The facilities overall are excellent. Although the hotel is a 20-30 minute drive from Hakuba, it’s well worth the stay if you have a car. Highly recommended for those looking for a tranquil and rejuvenating getaway!

The breakfast was a bit of a letdown. Not the greatest variety and many items were cold. No proper coffee is served either.

Clean and very helpful staff. We have a 7 month old and they provided us a crib for free and set it up in our room for us.

Only one food option and you need to make a reservation to eat there. If you have kids might need to make one early or go to the family mart down the road not many food options in the area.
