Pros +
- Nice rooms with a hot tub on the balcony. The food was good, and the facilities were nice. The Internet worked well. Yoga was a bonus. Short walk to the beach. Overall, highly recommended!
- We loved everything! We didn’t want to leave and wish we could have stayed longer. We didn’t actually like the beaches in Arraial do Cabo and Buzios. The towns are overrated and the beaches were crowded and dirty. But going back to our hotel beach - Caravelas - always made us happy. We then decided not to leave the hotel anymore. It had everything we needed, a wonderful beach, peaceful, clean, our paradise! We loved our room, it was modern, and yet rustic and cozy, the bed was comfy, and I loved my towel warmer. The staff was so friendly and had great food and wine recommendations… The hotel also had a great swimming pool area, sauna, massages, not to say yoga and meditation; which I wish I had enjoyed more - and the highlight for us: the restaurant! We are foodies and had every meal at the hotel restaurant so we could try every item on the menu! Spectacular, one of the best hotel restaurants I’ve ever been to. For future guests: try the hot rolls with watermelon, the arancini and the kafta. And the lemongrass tea! Divine.
- Very good breakfast and restaurant. Quiet location.Facilities. Comfort. Value for money.
Cons -
- It was challenging to communicate with the staff because no one spoke English. Providing beach umbrellas and chairs by the water's edge would have been nice.
- Although it might seem to be part of the charm, we didn’t understand how a hotel that is so well built, designed and kept can’t do something to make the road there just a little bit better. It’s pretty bumpy, I hope next time we visit they are able to fix those roads.
- Rooms are cleaned every two days. Late in the day and in a hurry.

Broken air-conditioning
The worst part was the leaking air conditioning, with water drops making huge noise preventing us from getting a good night sleep. After I notified the stuff about this inconvenience, the response was "thank you for letting us know, we will check", without any sincere apologies and even bothering to offer something to compensate (free bottle of water or something). Just different customer service mentality overall.
Location, Staff, Breakfast, Hospitality...everything was perfect. We loved the location and staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back.
All the hotel is really incredible.
There's a curly hair woman in the staff which one is a yoga teacher also, that is really disgusting to try to get information or take a conversation with her, besides that never greet people and her yoga class is really poor.
the property have good facilities
Lot of ants and mosquitos in the room, and there is no a cleaning service daily, just each two days. Also in the breakfast room there was a lot of ants and insects. The staff were not the best, they were not very kind or helpful, well not every one
Everyone was nice with us, they have a vegetarian restaurant which had the best dishes. All facilities were very nice and comfortable.
A clean up lady stole from our room, and the hotel didn't do anything. We complaint and they didn't gave us any answer
Having an enormous problem we would not be able to help from the hotel and get serious problems with my lags filling on the floor not one give help
The hotel people working with no one is polite ?
The atmosphere and the peace of the place plus the interaction with the owner in a meditation session
One of the staff members had a rather short fuse and did not quite match the otherwise friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the place.
This is a fairly new hotel, with good facilities including a yoga room, sauna, pool, jacuzzi and it’s right on Caravelas Beach. The rooms are fairly spacious as is the bathroom. There is also free parking right in front of the hotel, for those driving their own vehicles.
The orientations from the staff was contradictory at times, depending on who you talk to. Before arrival I inquired if there was anywhere I could get a bit of work done prior to checkin, as I was arriving before checkin time and I was told that I could work from anywhere I’d like. Upon arrival, the story changed and it was suggested that I worked from a bench, right in front of the reception , which obviously wouldn’t work. There were a few others like this along my stay but nothing that took away from the overall experience. Lastly, the hotel’s restaurant is strictly vegetarian with a relatively small menu, hence factor this in before you book.
The hotel is beautiful, with impeccable, modern and comfortable facilities. The bedroom, bathroom and balcony were spacious and beautifully decorated. They included a large smart TV, minibar, heated towel rail and comfortable bed and pillows. The view from room 20 was fantastic! The restaurant in the pool area had a well-prepared and cooked menu, all vegetarian and delicious. Breakfast was a highlight every day! We spent our days sunbathing between the pool and the beach, which is a 1-minute walk away. The hotel offered free activities following the spiritual and ecological theme, so every day we went on guided trails in the forest/beach, did yoga and meditation. We loved having a daily schedule, so we didn't need to plan much and were able to make the most of this amazing hotel. That said, it's much more than a hotel, it's a relaxing and meaningful experience that we highly recommend.
Wonderful place by the beach, super nice. We didn’t leave the hotel for the 4 days in Buzios
This property is a jewel, the hotel is inside a natural park, away from the city and main roads, you are really inside of nature, with an amazing sea view. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is absolutely magical. The people are amazing, kind and helpful. The cuisine fromThe restaurant is very tasty and vegetarian. The breakfast is delicious, and you can see everything is prepared with love and care.
I liked everything, we stayed for 8 days initially but decided to extend our stay, it was difficult to leave such an amazing location.
I liked the place, I liked the beach, the pool.
The staff, the people, the food, the overall energy of the place, it WASN'T espiritual at all, everyone was really boring, every guest always went to another restaurant to eat because the vegetarian food wasn't that good. On Friday night I asked to lit the bonfire, like to chill and relax, and they told me they would need to charge me $150 Reais, like BE SERIOUS, and there are "activities" but they have a price, the room is not cheap, why they would not pay for the activities themselves and be included? I found that ridiculous.
Spacious and modern room, with good day light and fully in nature.the direct access to the beach is beautiful.
Nothing-it was an amazing experience
Everything was clean, the nature is beautiful, private beach, healthy food! Lovely staff. Some of them speak english or spanish. So relaxing
Breakfast delicious. Restaurant in the hotel marvelous. Staff very kind. Beautiful and peaceful place.
Good food, room very comfortable and friendly and helpful stuff!!
The road to get at the property is not good at all.
The hotel was absolutely perfect! We had a blast and really enjoyed everything, from the private beach to the pool, to the food - big up to Adriane, Gabriel and the rest of the team who are amazing people and made our trip unforgettable! I would recommend this hotel a million times!!Thanks again for everything
Nothing negative to say, everything was perfect
