Pros +
- Room was comfortable and free breakfast was great. Staffs are very professional and polite.
- The cost to comfort and service ratio is excellent. The route Inn is not a "High End" hotel, but it is a comfortable hotel that for the price is an excellent choice. Their onsen is also wonderful.
- As a repeat guest, I can say it is consistently clean and welcoming at this hotel. All the folks at reception (regardless of shift) are eager to assist.
Cons -
- My room was located near the smoking room. I had to pass the area and the air was gross.
- The 10:00 am check out is absurd and should be changed to 11:00 am or 12:00 pm. Please put little creamers in the room so I don’t have to go to the lobby!
- The walls and ceilngs/floors are not soundproofed, and because smoking and non-smoking floors alternate sometimes my room would get bad air. The air purifier helped a little.

The room was clean and quiet. We love the nice breakfast buffet. Staffs were very polite and helpful. Public bath is superb. We really enjoyed the stay.
Staff were helpful and nice, breakfast was delicious, rooms were pristine, and the available amenities were great. The coin op laundry machines worked well and I was also very satisfied with their drycleaning. Products in the onsen were very good. Views over Choshi changed with the light in beautiful ways.

Great hotel, good hot spring bath, Good breakfast and A variety of breakfast options
There aren't a Convenience store around the hotel so you have to buy from Choshi station (Family mart and Newday shop)
Wonderful experience! Warm welcome, immaculately clean, and tasty breakfast.
No lunch available at the hotel, but a 24-hour store was nearby.
Bicycles are available for short term rental for free. Also, the place is very foreigner-friendly in terms of being accommodating. Breakfast was good too.
I would have liked some scrambled eggs and crispy bacon.
The breaksfast is fair. They should provide warm/ hot water
1. Early check in: the hotel replied us that we can have an early check in, but need to pay extra in the footnote. They should write in English in order for us to understand. 2. There should be at least a small Cafe open for visitors most of the day inside the hotel. After a long flight, we were tired because we cannot checkin early and rest. We find nowhere to stay and eat since most of the restaurants are closed till 5:00pm. in that town. ??3. The staffs at the front desk should speak a little English for communication purpose.
Lovely, new, modern, comfortable hotel. Fabulous onsen. Delicious breakfast. Complimentary coffee was great. Easy walk from the train station.
location-5 min easy walk from station, breakfast & dinner very good, the thermal baths, very good local restaurants and cafes near by( the small bar/restaurant across the road -opp the front door entrance was our best night out in Japan-food -10/10, cost 10/10, atmosphere- 10/10, the owners catering to english speaking tourist -10/10). Great friendly caring staff throughout the whole hotel.
Our mattress was a little too hard for our old bones!!
The hot spring was amazing. The breakfast was delicious. I'd like to stay again next time.
