Lakeshore Hotel Suao

LOVE LOVE the hot & cold onsen and the amazing view of the water from the balcony!! Also the refreshments in the fridge were free and the in-room snacks. The staffs were all very nice and kind!

The view from 1201 was phenomenal. The rooftop pool is amazing and the staff is available but also not intrusive. No swim caps required plus they are ok if you bring a drink to the pool. The hotel was so so clean and fresh. They have great parking and a filtered water machine.

Breakfast had a gigantic selection but I would have preferred a few things done well. The welcome cocktail is silly. Offer a beer, aperol spritz, gin and tonic or a martini and not a terrible vodka probiotic drink. Scratchy towels instead of fluffy ones like you'd expect from a 6k ntd hotel. They seem to focus on hotpot for the restaurant. A great burger would have been fantastic.

The complementary evening drinks and excellent breakfast. The breakfast spread blew us away! It is amazing if you love Taiwanese food! And the 6.30 to 13.30 hour is simply too thoughtful!! The hotel is close to the fish market. And the bus stop / train station just ten minutes away!

I booked a suite that locates on a high floor. Ocean view is right in front.Sunrise view from roof top is spectacular.

No bar, no mini mart, can't get a beer or other drinks.

Hot spring tub in the room was wonderful. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a hotel! Such a wonderful spread of local and international delights.

The shower area was open so it was very cold in winter and drainage wasn’t very well made

Breakfast buffet was quite special. Plenty of dishes that are made of local ingredients. Private, cold+hot spring inside the room is also a huge plus!

Cold spring is not as cold as I expected. Gym was quite basic and it’s next to the parking lot with no view.

I loved the rooms and hotel facilities. It was a comfortable stay for my family of 4. The hotel had a great breakfast spread, beautiful view of the lake and had complimentary drinks every night.

Not accessible to the ‘common’ tourist attractions. Would need a rented car to get around.

I loved the interior design, in-room spa amenity, the pool area with a great view, the lobby area is cozy and modern, and the one dining area had a great variety of fresh quality ingredients and dishes. Service was also very smooth and efficient, despite a language barrier. This is a fantastic place if you want to join the local tourists and situate yourself within reach but outside the touristic sites.

I wish the glass barrier at the pool were cleaner so I could see the view better from the water. Having a few more drink options would be nice as well.

The room was spacious along with excellent bedding. They only have one restaurant but it is utilized very well with breakfast going until 1PM and a great Hot Pot dinner.

Breakfast was good, they've got a lot of selections and it is till 1pm. I like the rooms, they have a nice spa and bathrooms are new and modern. I love that you can borrow different kinds of pillows too to make your stay awesome.

This is the place to relax and enjoy the facilities. The flexibility of check out and breakfast time is the best part of the stay.

If the swimming pool has cover on the top will be better for the morning swimming. Also when the swimming pool is crowded, the water becomes gooey and kind of dirty.

Misleading photos on booking sites, it’s actually some distance from the ocean, rooftop pool was quite basic and small. Breakfast was overrated, some foods were tasteless.

I like the room because they have the spa bath, it's very spacious. I like that the hotel offers free drinks when we checked in, and later at night there's Alco night. It's a very relaxing trip for us. Also, they offer free use of chiropractic & soft pillows where you can left it at the room once you checked out.

I didn't like it is that they don't provide toothbrushes, since we didn't bring one, we have to buy. It's quite a walk going to convenient stores, but I guess it's okay since we were able to buy one.
