Wonderful location and incredibly friendly staff. Everyone was very accomodating and the value for the money was good. Public transit is nearby (bus/subway/ferry), and the large city market is easily reachable by foot. The hotel breakfast is also good - nothing fancy, but everything is there and plenty of it!

The room was very hot when I arrived and it took awhile to figure out the air conditioner, but it worked great once I figured out the vent and the controls. Also, the single room is very very small. This was ok for me, but was a bit of a surprise and may not be ok for some.

The location was nice ,Staff were friendly and spoke good English . I Like the fact that there was 24 hr receptionist .

The AC in the other room is old and not adequate for Three people . The lift is too small and cumbersome to use .

Location is good: metro, tram stations are nearby, and seaside is not too far away

The rooms are extremely small—have never encountered such compact spaces at this price. There were major cleanliness issues: towels, curtains and room, bathroom amenities are in serious need of renovation. The housekeeping staff were also quite loud, making noise very early in the morning

The position in the middle of a bicycle shopping street, also picking point by a friend or Taxi is little bit difficult

Great location with very helpful staff that immediately found us blankets when the default bedsheets were too thin for the weather. It was quiet and the breakfast was great.

It took some 5-10 minutes to get some hot water running….we almost gave up…

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staffs were helpful. The hotel is located in the centre of Izmir with an access to Metro station, which made commuting around the city quite easy.

The room was more like a wardrobe - very small. The shower was a wet room, so small that you couldn't open the door fully to enter as it was hitting the toilet. The shower head was broken and leaking, more water was coming out of the house rather than the shower head. The bed was firm and the pillow provided was more like a towel. There were no additional pillows or throws. There was a communal balcony type area. The door to this was incredibly hard to lock. It was left unlocked the day I checked in and the curtains were drawn so I didn't notice. So as a solo female traveller I also with the door unlocked unknowingly the first night. The balcony is communal and other outdoor have access to it. Next day I spent about 15 minutes trying to lock it as the lock mechanism wasn't working properly. The rooms have no sound isolation, you can hear everyone in their rooms, showers running, people walking and talking in hallways. The housekeeping staff was incredibly loud. Everyday they put their trolley right outside of my room where they then were banging around, dropping stuff, banging doors, with no consideration for people who are on a holiday and are resting in the rooms.All in all, there were cheaper hotels that were available when I was looking to book a place, so this was not the cheapest. The pictures of the rooms are not at all accurate, not even taking into consideration the state and condition of the room. I would not recommend it to anyone, especially if you are a solo traveler.

- The hotel is well located, 6 minutes walking by a M1 metro station, and near the bazar. Generally, the zone is not dangerous, but it is very dirty during nights. Finally, this is Turkey, no offence. - I stayed for 3 nights in room 108, recently renovated, clean, disposable sleppers, white bedsheets, air conditioning system, a minibar (decent prices), electric plug & light by the bed, TV, kettle - everything was functional - nothing to complain- Decent Wi-Fi within the room- I do appreciated the blackout curtain in my room- Initially, more money was taken from my bank account than the booking.com mentioned, but I discussed to the hotel owner, he understood the situation and he returned the difference in cash immediately- Cleaning is done daily, but I refused and displayed that red sign outside the door- Breakfast is repetitive and consist of supermarket products, but it was acceptable overall: sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, boiled eggs, poached eggs, fried sliced sausage, French fries, olives, halva, watermelon, candies, bread, instant coffee (in Turkey?), tea (not Turkish tea), three types of highly chemical "juices". I drunk the plain water instead those juices. As well, there were 3-4 prepacked sort of food (maybe butter, jam, honney?), but I didn't try them- The staff is very kind, although only two employees speak English- There is an elevator in service

- There is no mosquito net in my room- The real room dimension is 2.2 x 2.5 meters and the bathroom is 1.5 x 1.2 meters. - The toilet door cannot be opened completely since it hits the toilet bowl. That toilet door must be removed because the room is designated for one people.- The door of my room leads to a shared balcony, which smells of food in the mornings because of the kitchen located at basement. So the balcony door cannot be kept open all the time- There are no chairs or tables on that shared balcony. By a 300 euro smart investment that sad terrace shared by 3 small rooms would became an attraction and a value added asset of hotel (3 plastic chairs, 3 plastic tables, some green artificial leaves on the walls, some led lights on walls....)

The hotel is in a good location close to public transport and is in downtown. Although Breakfast doesn't come in much variety but the taste was good.

Everything else except the location, the room was super small, and a lot of noise during the nights. Wifi quality was bad.

Unfriendly staff! Any question from us got an arrogant answer as how could we be as stupid ? The rooms are incredibly small! Single room you couldn’t open the bathroom door fully because the ? is on its way. That’s of course not shown on the pictures or mentioned in description. The facility is aged and because of that feels dirty. Bed sheets and pillowcases were yellow. I bought new ones myself. Seemed a good value for money but boy was I wrong. Wouldn’t recommend!

Good location, the sites are within walking distance (if you like walking) and the airport shuttle stop is only 9 minutes away. Staff is friendly. There is a 24/7 reception. The rooms are nice and spacious, but it is an older hotel. Air conditioner worked perfectly.

It is not your typical touristy location. There are locals everywhere trying to sell stuff to each other and leave a bit of litter after themselves. I did not mind and it did not feel unsafe.
