The staff are great particularly the manger Mr Omer who is fantastic and always available to support the clients

Bathroom needs improvement

It’s a decent hotel that is centrally located close to one of the best shawarmas in Izmir. It’s a budget hotel so please don’t expect five star hotel services. It’s great value for money, just book spend the night and move on. The staff is so friendly and they serve free coffee all day for guests.

Great location very close to the train station. Affordable room with a full buffet breakfast. Staff very helpful and while initially providing me with an upgraded room, the Wifi signal was not strong. They immediately assisted me in moving rooms to where the wifi was perfect.

Very bad smell in the room despite using sprays, quite uncomfortable pillows, no extra blankets, when turning on AC the smell was bad!

We came in a rental car, so we surprised by the valet parking (they take you car to a nearby otto park and bring it back whenever you need it). Service was great, and the rooms were nice with comfortable beds. The best thing is the location. If you want to walk around and explore day or night, it is very easy and close to many attractions. Breakfast was standard Turkish with bread, cheese, olives, etc. and a few extras.

Nothing really comes to mind. Any issues were quicly forgotten.

The location is relatively convenient - about a 15-minute walk to the seaside promenade. That’s where the positives end.

We arrived after midnight and had no option to move elsewhere, so we stayed two nights before our trip to Kuşadası. We travel frequently and stay in many hotels and Airbnbs, but this was honestly one of the worst experiences we’ve had.The room was filled with the smell of cigarette smoke to the point where my eyes were watering. We had to sleep with the windows wide open - which was noisy, as the street below has cars and cafés.The bedding was in unacceptable condition: strange stains on the blanket, holes in the sheets, and an overall feeling of uncleanliness.I asked to see another room, but the hotel was fully booked.The bathroom was also quite run-down. The toilet flush buttons were worn and dirty, and the trash bin had visible burn marks.The headboard and the wall next to the bed had unsettling stains and marks that made us very uncomfortable.We didn’t even try the breakfast.I ended up sleeping fully dressed, with my hoodie on, just to avoid touching the bedding directly.We stayed in Izmir, a city known for warmth and hospitality - but the hotel staff apparently missed the memo.At check-out, the man at reception didn’t say hello or goodbye. No smile. No words.For €98 for two nights in Turkey, you’d at least expect basic courtesy.

The staff was nice and very helpful whenever needed. The breakfast was decent. and the location is SUPER !

The cleanliness standard is below average. The pillow cases were yellowish and stained and haven't been cleaned properly in a long time.

Everything was fine except the fact that pictures of the room and reality is completely different things. The bathroom in the photo (the room we booked) was big, spacious and modern but in reality it was a small cubicle where the door hit the toilet, the walls were cracked. The same applies to the general size of the room - in the photos it looks large and spacious, but in real life there wouldn't even be room to spread out a yoga mat, and that was important to us, which is why we chose a large FAMILY ROOM. It's not that it was bad, but misleading a customer by publishing false photos is not a practice worthy of a reputable facility.

Very good location, amazing value for money. It seems like they are constantly improving and modernizing, so because of that some parts might not be completely up to expectation, but we had no issues. Here and there it feels a bit “older” but I’m fairly certain that won’t be the case in the future.They also had a pretty good breakfast, which is amazing for the price.

I liked the location of the hotel. It is placed near the main market in the city and it's also close to pierce. I loved the vicinity of nice local restaurants and I really liked the service.

I didn't like the quality of rooms and interiors.

I really enjoyed my stay at Madi Hotel! The location is fantastic—close to the sea, the central park, and plenty of restaurants and cafés. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any issue (and even cheer up when I was feeling blue :))I truly appreciated the cleanliness and freshness of the room—keep doubling down on that!

Yes, the plumbing is a bit worn out, but overall, my impression of the room was positive. You might consider adding a couple of extra mugs for the kettle, a few glasses in the bathroom for toothbrushes, and perhaps offering brighter lighting as an option.Breakfast was generally good, but the quality varied from day to day—I’m not sure what caused the inconsistency. On some days, everything was great: fresh products, enough food for everyone, warm and crispy simits, and rich, hearty çorba. On other days, it was the opposite. Maintaining consistently high-quality ingredients and breakfast service every day would be a great improvement!

Very good value hotel close to the metro. Very clean and having the terrace on the floor I was on was perfect. Nice little view of the city as well. Good places to eat around. Very easy to get to to the IZBAN if you were interested in taking a day trip to Selçuk (just make sure to leave before 11am)
