ROOM WAS A BIT SMALL OTHERWISE NICE AND VERY CLEAN NICE STAFF AND OWNER HIMSELF

The breakfast spread was good and nutritious. The hotel is close to anywhere you want to see walkable distances such as the Bazaar, the park and the historical round about on the coast line. Nice posh neighborhoods there and all walkable if you like to walk around Izmir in that direction through the park. The staff made us a breakfast to go since we had an early tour to Ephesus the day after our arrival in Izmir. Mind you that this hotel is located near electronic and computer shops for some who may be interested.

The mattress was too soft for my sleeping habit. Otherwise everything else was great.

The breakfast was great. Location is also OK: close to metro and city center. I enjoyed communication with the parrot in the lobby

The location is surrounded by some small markets of different stuff, which I didn't like because of the crowds of sellers. The hotel and the rooms are of dark colors which created a little bit gloomy atmosphere.

Everything, except the AC was not working.

The owner doesn't want to turn on the AC and insists that all rooms are kept at 23 degrees, which made the room hot and uncomfortable.

Weak WiFi signal in room.Had to login to WiFi with passport number (big-brother!).Not in a nice street.

This could have easily been a 10 star rating but…The hotel was great, the staff extremely friendly and helpful.We even got a free room upgrade!Breakfast was OK - not very vegan friendly.Location was OK - the neighborhood seem a bit sketchy but nothing too bad.Valet parking was convenient.

The one black dot in our experience is them having an exotic bird living miserably in a tiny cage in the lobby. In 2025, I find this very unnecessary and unethical. This is a hotel, not a zoo. I hope they give this bird a better life in a refuge and never repeat this atrocity again. Wildlife must live in the wild.

The breakfast was as good as it gets in Turkey. The staff were excellent. Location was perfect for us as u were in the middle of 2 different stations, close to the market.

During this time in Izmir, there was a hot wind so check the weather before u go as it can become uncomfortable.

Location - central. Good assortment and variety of items at breakfast.

They shutdown the A/C the second night. Could not lower the thermostat. The toilet flush was broken (kept running water, tank not filling) but they resolved the problem. They were not very helpful to provide recommendations for restaurants in the area. The staff was not knowledgeable about the area. The cover was too small to share for king bed.

ROOMs, Breakfast , Stairs on top floor, electric port in door was out and dangerous, generally we just checked in and checked out immediately and the quality was that much low that we even did not stay in the hotel

Liked the fact that it was close to Basmane station, to get to the airport and Ephesus, the bazaar and could easily walk to the sea. Good breakfast

Beds way too soft so both of us woke up with neck and back pain, need decent shampoo vs the hand soap dispenser in the shower. And I asked for a taxi but they called uber and the guy ran late and took me the long way to the bus station so I missed my original bus I wanted to take. Not the prettiest area of Izmir

Everything was perfect They had the best customer service and clean rooms . Location and the size of it too.

The terrible smell of cigarette smoke in our room at night. It was hard to sleep.Smoking should be prohibited in the rooms.Air conditioning was not very good Breakfast was good. The coffee was not good. I couldn’t drink it. I drank tea instead.There is construction in the surrounding area. Dirty and dusty.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and helpful staff. The breakfast was also excellent, with many options. The valet service was also a perk given the congestion for parking in the city.

I felt sad for the African Grey parrot in the lobby. I am a bird lover. The water in its cage was old and filthy, and it didn't have any toys. It also needs more perches to sit. Although the hotel is well kept, I wish the parrot would get better attention.

It was all as advertised, great location, great breakfast buffet, quiet, and staff were very helpful and professional.

Hotel Emen's is a great place to stay in Izmir.This hotel is spotless and sanitary. Each morning the breakfast had a wonderful food selection.Every member of the staff is overboard kind, sweet and helpful. You won't go wrong making a reservation at Hotel Emen's!
