Awajishima Hotel Lodge GREEN COZY

The hotel and staff were very accommodating and assisted in our travels.

So, this isn't a place you book if you don't have a car. Japan is so sophisticated in its infrastructure (trains, subways, bus, taxi, etc.) but Awajishima is for those who have driven with their own car or a rental car. It was so difficult to obtain transportation to the attractions around the island that we cut our stay short!

A microwave, was a great appliance along with fridge and kettle. The delivery of fresh linens, water, coffee, tea etc. and trash take away. Room was clean, quiet and safe feeling. Great large size and cleanliness of room was awesome. Free Parking on-site. Also having the little outdoor space with picnic table was a great option to use. We would recommend and would stay there again if in area.

Would be nice to have more than one pillow for each bed.

Really a quiet place with easy access to nearby restaurant and grocery store. Quiet season during my stay. Outside BBQ area which will be a great place during summer but perhaps not too great during cold weather

The room and facilities were great. Very homey but also spacious and clean. We regretted not planning a longer stay!

Although the place is quite centrally located, the only nearby attraction we found was the Farm Park which we weren't really interested in. Dining options nearby are also a bit limited unless you book a barbeque pit and do it yourself.

Taking a very long and narrow stairs to your room. If you have a big luggages and your legs are not good, don't stay at this hotel. Except this issue, all are perfect

It was very clean and quiet.

I think it would be nice to stay there in the summer with friends or family. But in the winter, it's too cold to use the shared space where you could have an outdoor meal with friends/family. So I felt the price was a bit high considering this. The room was fit with a good sized bathroom and was comfortable. But if you have a big suitcase, it would be very hard to get it up the stairs to the rooms. Maybe some rooms don't have a staircase. It would be a good idea to check.

The room was surprisingly very spacious! A lot bigger than your typical Japanese hotel room. The beds were so comfortable, room was super clean, check in and out was easy. Will stay here again in the future.

Had a toddler who was napping and it was an extremely hot day, we requested for an early check in time and was charged for checking in 15 minutes before the allowed check in time. You’ll need a car to get to this accommodation as it is a bit of a drive and away from the main roads.

Coin laundry with washer and dryer was very helpful.
