Super friendly and helpful staff

The bed and sheets were very clean and comfortable

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was great. Staff was available for a late night check in!

I stayed here in 2024 before my Ha Giang Loop motorbike trip and came back to do it again this year.It's a great hotel, probably the best in Ha Giang but a little pricey for Vietnam, especially so far north.

The swimming pool didn't look clean so I didn't swim.

The included buffet breakfast was quite good, with Vietnamese and western options provided, including fresh fruit. The room was great; large, clean and comfortable. Excellent value. A quality hotel commensurate with what one would expect in Ha Noi or Ho Chi Minh City. Nice to see a hotel of this quality in Ha Giang.

Had dinner in the hotel's restaurant, and do not recommend it. Not good at all. We would have been better served going somewhere else. Had better 'street food' in Ha Noi sitting on the sidewalk. The Phoenix needs to step up their game in the restaurant, at far as dinner is concerned.

The room was clean and comfortable

It said on the site there was a swimming pool and spa, the staff said it was all closed. Also it said there was a gym, this was two treadmills in an empty bedroom and the air con was really poor in there. There was no gym equipment or spa or anything of that sort apart from 2 running machines in a really small bedroom.

Very good breakfast selection of Vietnamese food. Bed was comfortable and the room had a good view of the river.

Very VERY loud location right on the main highway. Our room was booked as non smoking but everything smelled of cigarettes. Checkout is at 12pm but the key is locked out an hour prior so had to be reprogrammed by the front desk. My wife left her jacket in the closet at checkout but it was immediately "not found" by the staff

It was a convenient place to rest before starting the Ha Giang Loop. Nice views along the river from room

It was a basic hotel with a grand frontage and somewhat dated but it was comfortable. The mini fridge was pretty loud.

We stayed at the Pheonix Hotel in Ha Giang for 5 nights and had an excellent stay, the staff were highly efficient and extremely helpful. We had a deluxe room with balcony overlooking the river and the view was excellent. The hotel was quiet and I spent 3 days there myself while my partner did the Hi Giang loop, it was a great place to stay solo also and I highly recommend this hotel. From outside, turn right and a mile walk through to interesting sites into the city and up to Ho Chi Minh Square where there is always something taking place with the local schoolchildren, parades/bands etc. There is also a fantastic temple complex in the city, a market, lots of cafes and eating places with vegetarian options, easily found using Google maps etc. Ha Giang is a fantastic city to explore and still unspoiled for now. We would definitely return to the Phoenix Hotel.

Buffet for breadfast id so good.There are many dishes and kinds of food.Drinks is also good because this season is orange season.

The valve for toilet was broken, can not get water to clean.

Shortly after our arrival my husband became very unwell and he collapsed in the room. The staff were incredible. My husband was taken by ambulance to the local hospital and a staff member came with us to interpret for us. The director of the hotel also came to the hospital with food for us. Their kindness was greatly appreciated during a very stressful time.
