Phi Hotel Milano

I would not consider it as a 4 but 5 star Hotel. Very clean and big rooms, the service is the one for 5 star hotels, and the Breakfast was excellent, fresh and dried fruits, vegetables and much more.....Grazie a tutti i personali.

We recently stayed at this 4-star hotel in Milan and booked two rooms for one night. Unfortunately, we encountered several issues during our stay:One of the rooms had no window, and the door to the balcony was locked. According to the reception, the balcony glass was broken, so access was restricted. As a result, there was no source of fresh air in the room, which was quite uncomfortable.In the second room, the sink in the bathroom was not functioning properly, with water unable to drain. Additionally, we found hairs on the bed, which raised concerns about cleanliness.We requested a room change, but the reception informed us that the hotel was fully booked and unable to accommodate our request.When we brought up these concerns at check-out, the staff offered a refund as a goodwill gesture. However, we declined, as our main concern was not financial. Rather, it was about maintaining the trust and standards expected from a 4-star hotel.There is certainly room for improvement, especially regarding quality control and maintenance. We hope the hotel takes these points seriously to enhance future guests’ experiences.

Basic and dated - 40 mins from Milan by car

The hotel is very basic and dated. Cracks in walls and paint working chipping. It’s fine if you want somewhere very basic to sleep but if you are expecting 3/4 stars it’s not that. The entrance is also very hidden for taxis and Ubers which delayed getting them quite often. Breakfast is “meh” wouldn’t pay for it but had it included so ate and it was fine. . The bugs people talk about in other reviews are not bed bugs but are green shield beetles that come in from the balcony’s and die. When I got to the room there were several dead on the floor which does make you question the cleanliness. TVs are available but just 3 Italian channels. There is a mini bar with some snacks and drinks. Double bed was two single push together which is pretty uncomfortable. Personally wouldn’t return but it does the job if you want to stay in the industrial part of town for conferences etc.

Far from city center

Very good location just 30min from city centre.staff friendly and rooms clean and bright.our trip was pleasant for family members and I asked hotel staff a little touch to put a note in the room with a Happy Birthday massage, It was a nice surprise when they done more than I expected, they put a small box of chocolates. it was very nice, hotel staff done extra mile for us.

1.Cleanliness: The room was extremely dirty and unhygienic. We found multiple cockroaches in the room, which caused significant distress for my family. This level of cleanliness is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel.2.Temperature and Comfort: The room was very cold. The ventilation system only allowed heating up to 22°C, which was insufficient, especially for our small child. Our daughter had to sleep with us to stay warm during the night, which disrupted our sleep and comfort.3.Customer Service: Upon our arrival, the gentleman at the reception was notably unprofessional and unfriendly. He appeared disinterested in assisting us and provided no relevant information about our stay. Additionally, he insisted on immediate payment upon check-in but failed to provide us with a receipt, which is highly irregular and concerning.Given the poor conditions of the room—being dirty, cold, and infested with insects—it is now clear why upfront payment was required. We were left with no option but to accept these substandard conditions, as we did not have the time or energy to engage in lengthy discussions after a long journey.

The hotel is new, clean and comfortable, close to Galeazzi Hospital and Rho Fiera. The breakfast has several options both sweet and salty. The bathroom is spacious and the bed and pillow were extremely comfortable.

One of the reasons why I selected this hotel was the possibility to have dinner at the hotel. However, the restaurant is closed on weekends. Unfortunately, there are no restaurant nearby and I had to order a pizza and eat it in the small room's desk. A shuttle to the Fiera and hospital would be a huge plus. The room's cost are very variable throughout the week and the same room can cost from ~70 euros up to more than 300 euros.

Location: Not easy to arrive. Far from Milan.Noice: I could hear other people outside.Credit card deposit: I didn't know that I would need a credit card.

The receptionist was good and helpful. The room was well organised, and the bathroom was clean and facilitated.

Ac was not the best. Blankets were not comfortable. it looks like it has not been washed, causing skin irritations.

Great location for short stopover on the way south. Beds were clean and room was nice and cool.

Bathroom had significant water damage which needed repairing. Shower was full of limescale, which was off putting.

Phi Hotel Milano was great and so clean with all the facilities needed.Mr Karlos is great person and always trying to help and always smiling ? also the breakfast staff is great, friendly and open-hearted. I highly recommend this Hotel." We enjoyed our stay.

Nothing to complain

It was clean and nice hotel. Free parking area was available.

It was far from the city center, half an hour drive. Hot water supply was not rapid enough (although we were at the 2nd floor) but it was managable.

The best yesrs of the hotel are gone. Everything doesn't have to be new, it's enough if it's clean, what wasn't here. Mold in the shower, one day only cold water until late at night. Very poorly stocked breakfast. already at 7:45 in the morning, many things were missing, and they were not replenished, despite the fact that the housekeeper went around the counters often.

Wonderful and friendly lady at the reception. The room has everything you need. Very comfortable slippers and beds. Also a large bathroom. Underground parking adds its advantages. Also delicious breakfast. Fully recommend

Our room was fully equipped with very nice amenities. I really appreciated that we were given larger bottles for shampoo and shower gel, as usually hotels provide with miniatures and I go and buy a proper portion from nearby super markets. I was positively surprised

The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. Like seriously. If you intend to use the means of transport and not rent a car it is a huge no, no, no. We were really disappointed as we ended up paying a fortune to taxis for transportation from the hotel to the city centre and vice versa. The zone where the hotel is located is more of an industrialised zone other than residential zone. It has industrial warehouses nearby and highways which does not make the distance walkable and during Sundays there are not even buses to the city centre. We booked it at last minute without having understood the distance and we were disappointed. The room was okay, the amenities were very satisfactory, but the floor did not seem mopped, as it had dirt, maybe from previous residents. For a few nights and a car it is okay, taking into consideration Milan’s prices, overall.
