Rainforest Motel

The owner was so cheerful and helpful you couldn’t help but like the place. It is located on the road up to Lake Matheson so couldn’t be more convenient. It was clean.

We had to move room even though we were staying 2 nights due to a booking communication issue. The second room, Room No.1, was a bit old and simple.

We were surprised at how much we loved these accommodations. The place was comfortable and quiet, and everything we needed was provided. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Good size room with a heater to warm up with. Covered deck for the downpour we were in. Lovely view when the clouds parted and had it been good weather nice lawn areas with picnic tables.

The couch was uncomfortable, but otherwise we were nice and cozy and able to make a nice meal.

Views of the snow capped mountains, walk to restaurants, close to attractions.

Very easy to find and quite acceptable for an overnight stay.

The property / room is very tired and well overdue for a makeover.

verything was spotlessly clean, the rooms were tidy and beautifully maintained.The owner is lovely, friendly, and always willing to help — it really felt like home.The location is perfect, close to everything but still quiet and peaceful.Overall, everything was excellent!Highly recommend this place to anyone ?

Staff was friendly and accomadating. Location was easy off main road and a few minutes from local restaurants and eazy mart. Room was spacious and clean. Great Stay!.

Right in the heart of hiking. A small hotel with plenty of parking. Room was a great size and the bed was comfortable. There is an amazing restaurant within walking distance. The view from the hotel is really pretty.

Neighbors were a bit loud but not too late into the night.

An excellent stay. Such a warm and friendly welcome, arriving on my own in the dark. Room had everything I needed and was pre-warmed when I arrived, which I really appreciated. Great location and easy to find.

I was there in the winter and was lucky enough to get upgraded to a one bedroom. Everything was just as advertised and the owner was very personable and helpful. If you are there in the rain, like I was, the Matheson Lake Café is a great place For coffee or lunch and to work remotely.

Perfect location for our plans to go to Lake Matheson at sunrise. Owner very helpful upon check in. Room was pre-heated, which was much appreciated. Kitchenette was useful. Overall really nothing to complain about other than price was a bit steep, but really probably due to the convenience of the location.

From comfortable bedding to fluffy towels to well appointed kitchen, this place was pleasant surprise. The hosts were friendly, helpful and sincerely interested in making our stay to the area more enjoyable. And then there the friendly pets!! Highly recommend!

Manager was very helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Heater in the bathroom.

The room has everything you need. It’s so close to Lake Matheson. Just a minute walk to the restaurant. The views are very spectacular.
