Colonial Motel

Location proximity to visit National Park is great. Parking right outside room was nice. Good restaurants walking distance away.

Mattress was a bit hard.

I really enjoyed the convenience of location. We loved the mini kitchen and air fryer as well as all the beverage options and kettle. Shower was wonderful. Beds were so comfortable. Slept well and enjoyed our stay.

The location is accessible. The rooms are clean.And the bed are comfy.

A nice motel in Twizel with good size rooms

Amazing place to stay, especially if you’re travelling back from Mount Cook to Christchurch. The accommodation was very comfortable and definitely worth the money. It’s also conveniently located close to shops and food options, which made our stay even better. Highly recommended!

Location, staff and conveniences!

Cooking smells from the adjacent units filled our unit at some point. We had to open the windows for the smell to go away.

Room was clean and comfort. Location was good too, though some distance to Lake Tekapo, but we enjoyed the driving with nice scenery, especially when driving to the Mount Cook Alpine Salmon.

Easy access to shops and attractions in town and close proximity to Lake Pukaki/Mt Cook National Park.

Easy to check in, kind staff to give us the key in the morning. Nice and clean. 5 min walk to all restaurants, city center.

We could walk to restrauants and shopping. Short drive to Mt. Cook. Staff was very helpful and kind.

I did not like the stairs .

No additional blanket available. It was extremely cold and subsequently had to gave the air conditioner on 23 all night to keep warm.Blown bulb on one of the bedside lamps. Wattage to low to use as a reading lampOne heat lamp [one of two] was blown making bathroom cold.Shortage of utensils ie one teaspoon and toaster tray had old crumbs on itOnly staff member seen was when booking in. When returning keys at 8am no one was available

Cold on arrival, windows open, no heaters on, decor a bit dated, doors squeak need a bit crc on them hard to move around at night without waking people.

Good location. Close to restaurants, supermarket and bars.Quiet and very clean.

Minor issues - Window latches broken in bathroom. Shower leaked.

The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. The bathroom was great and the lounge had a comfy couch. All the facilities were of a high standard.

We couldn't work out how to use the TV and there were no instructions. Some of our guests had their wi-fi connection drop off a few times.

The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was clean and tidy. The wifi was fast but a little confusing to log into. The bathroom seemed recently remodeled but was small and cramped. Mikey at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly.

Loved the layout of the studio, having a full kitchen was ideal, and a washing machine in the bathroom!Easy access to town square, nice quiet location, not too close to other occupants.Closest town to visit Mt Cook village.

Oven could have been cleaner, and foil provided to cover baking tray.

Nice location. Warm place to live after the Mt cook hiking. Could just park in front of the room which is convenient. Also close the grocery.
