Pros +
- Riggt downtown, possibility to store my bike securely, personnel very cool
- Position in lovely town
- The bathroom (room 110) was clean and modern. There was both a fixed shower head and a flexible one. I like a chamomile tea before bed, there was no kettle in the room but the bar was happy to fill my cup with boiling water. I liked the terrace.
Cons -
- 1. No staff2. No information on getting access3. Very small room with very thin walls, poor privacy to en suite bathroom facilities4. Few plugs5. Uncomfortable bed6. No one around for coffee at 8.15
- The decor was a bit tired but not a problem.
- When I made the booking, the hotel information said to alert the staff if you're "corpulent" (overweight). I didn't think much of this, but when I got to my room, I found out I am indeed, corpulent. The room had a modern shower that had been recently renovated, but the opening to the shower was fairly narrow (about 12" wide). Let's just say, it was kind of tricky to get in and out of the shower through the narrow opening. But I liked my room so much, I decided not to ask for a different room. I managed and was happy I kept the room I had.

Very charming hotel. You can tell it is a little bit old, but it has been updated and is fairly modern. The room had a window that overlooked a nice outdoor market (held several days per week). The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple but tasty (bread, croissants, coffee, and orange juice). Overall, I would definitely return to stay there again. The town of Cabourg is very charming, and the people are friendly.

The service staff was very punctual, and you were able to communicate your needs and once to them with no problem.
Being charged for breakfast coffee for breakfast in itself.
Fortunately my stay was for just one night and it didn’t cost much.
The property is a rabbit warren and everything about my room was rather tired. No one there to meet on arrival. Restaurant was closed and breakfast was late and very frugal.
great location near to the centre of the town and parking nearby
very tiny shower room/toilet
We liked everything: location was great. Room, bedlinen, towels all clean. Towels cleaned daily. Staff at breakfast keen to ensure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was well shuttered. Free Parking.
Hotel was of a traditional type and construction with narrow passage ways and doors. Soon got used to it! Nothing stood out as not to like overall.
That our $$ has been promised to be refunded 100%.
We did not stay after seeing this place . We requested two beds on suite & were shown a room with a bed /sink /shower all in one room . Zero privacy. The while building was a death trap if there was a fire. It was old, dirty, dingy, poorly lite, locked up when we got there, had to wait around for someone to turn up to let us in. Defiantly not up to safety codes . Pushy owner as they tried convinced us to stay.
Cheap
Restaurant was closed and had to squeeze past piled up tables and chairs. Small room up 3 flights if difficult stairs. Bedside lights not working.
Very enjoyable friendly staff
Narrow staircase to room
Very central to everything
Very noisy at night. Could hear people talking in the next room
