Hotel Lugano Torretta

Loved the location , quick walking distance to many major attractions in Florence. Spacious,renovated rooms with comfortable beds and large showers. Breakfast was included and there was a good assortment of food available. Staff was very friendly

There isn¿t an elevator

The staff are very helpful; I was immediately given an upgrade on complaining about the status of the allocated room. Very good breakfast and dinner menu.

The original allocated room falls short for a four star hotel, however the new wing definitely earns a four star status.

Proximity to transit to Venice

Impossible to park. They charge for everything, like parking and food, and not being nice about it. The staff was not too friendly. We've requested a taxi for an early departure. BE AWARE! They've called a "taxi" without markings and we got overcha

The buffet breakfast is very good.

WIFI signal is not strong in the room.

Walking to the hotel late at night on a Sunday. The tunnel under the train tracks is quite scary. I walked through it after check out and saw active drug use. I had decided to take a taxi the short way to the hotel from the train station the night before and was happy I did so.

I like this hotel and the superior rooms: big, clean, modern and with balconies. And great breakfast.

Last time the hotel desk manager wasn’t very delicate and it was strange. As before all ladies are nice, kind and gentle. Probably he wasn’t in mood

Convenient to Mestre train station. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and OK for a one-night stay.

The coffee at breakfast. It was terrible, like highly concentrated powdered coffee. Really undrinkable, even for a British person like me who grew up with instant coffee. When I mentioned it to the receptionist on checkout, he said 'You can ask for espresso". Not sure what he meant by that, but if he meant there was fresh coffee available, there was no indication whatsoever, and this information is not helpful when checking out. This would not be great in any hotel, but in Italy, the coffee capital, it was a bit surreal.

The room was big enough for 3 persons, very clean and bright. The working A/C maid our stay comfortable. The breakfast was really good.

I really enjoyed the breakfasts in the hotel. Also, the hotel is decently quite and located super close to the train station and bus stop. The administration at the welcome desk is friendly and helpful.

The value for money is okay, but the rooms are very basic and small, times with outdated furniture.

The room was clean, with good ventilation and an efficient air conditioning system. The bed was also comfortable. This hotel is a great option for those visiting Venice, as it's located in a nearby city but just a 10-minute train ride from Venice's main train station

The quality of the breakfast was not very satisfying and was quite average overall. Unfortunately, the quality of the coffee was especially poor

Proximity to Mestre Station.

The facility needs upgrade. There's no hot water at all during our first night, likely due to many guests using at the same time. This is not acceptable for a 4-star hotel. Average breakfast.

The location was very convenient. The bus stop where we took a bus to the island was right next to the hotel and it took just 15 minutes to the Santa Lucia station. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is outside Venice we were travelling with dogs so chose this hotel to take better care of dogs (keep walking around etc.). The location is not inspiring but the hotel is renovated, rooms are big and comfortable. It's 5 min walk to train station where you can catch a train to Venice Central station, the trip lasts 10 minutes.

The restaurant is quite poor with the menu and appearance.

It was amazing experience! The room is amazing, big room, big bed and really comfortable and huge bathroom with all you need! Nice design, my room was with balcony. You can make total dark with curtains. I love this place Wow. And super tasty and full of variety breakfast People at reception are amazingly nice
