Hotel Amba Alagi

It's not bad, we had a small issue checking in, we came earlier, the receptionist had to come down from somewhere else, the room had a smell of cigarettes, but it wasn't distracting, the heater didn't work, but the shower and everything else was up to standard. I highly recommend this if you're staying 1-2 nights, no more!

super worth it for the price! we got to put our luggage ealier, the service is nice, the room is clean, the water heater working perfectly fine

Horable!!!

No aircondition, very dirty , smell is like coming from a sewer, the water has a black elements, the ceiling fan has a loud noise, the mosquitoes are inside no screens, needs a total renovation . It’s horable . BOOKING. COM your name reflects to this hotel .

I didn't like anything, it was very bad, check in time until at 22:00, but we arrived at 23;30, that asked us, which we must pay extra money, I don't why.

It is very hot hotel, I can't suggest anyone.

Place. Close to tram and bus lines

1. No conditioning. Staff familiar with the problems many days and did not perform anything. Was terribly hot. 2. Hot Water in the shower - you have to adjust water tap every 5 sec in order to keep the temperature3. There was a kettle but NO cups and No appropriate socket for it. You have to go 2 floors down to boil the water4. Kitchen was always dirty - evidently the staff was eating there but not cleaning

Location was good. Bus stop was about 2 minutes walk. Room was clean. Guy at the front desk was very helpful to our questions

No elevator. We are a senior couple and had to go up about 3 levels of floors to go to our room.Bathroom could be better. Toilet was badly stained

Convenient — near tram stop and bus stop, you can easily access venice. Staff was also nice.

We arrived early,and it was possible to make an early check in ,the receptionist was super nice to help us in this matter and not wait.the room was super clean, at our floor we had a balcony that was made for smoking area.the neighborhood has walking distance to everything:bars ,restaurants etc.close to the train station,like 20 minutes walk,and bus around the corner for Venice.Outside was super cold but the room had heating and was always warm.

Great location, bus stop right round the corner that goes straight into Venice. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Perfect for the three nights we stayed.

Room did smell of cleaning products so had to open the window for awhile to let some fresh air in.

Decor dated and dirty, room very dirty/dusty, window hanging off in bathroom, shower didn’t close properly and no floor towel, bare pipes and wires exposed, sockets didn’t all work and not enough of them, beds only had sheets no duvets, rubbish in the wardrobe, booked a double and got a twin room, asked to extend stay and were told it would be €140 when tariff on door said max €75

Way too overpricedBooking process unusual weird. I selected two persons, once there I was told I must pay extra for the second person.Nobody at the reception at noon, as well at 18. Unacceptable.Not worth a third of the price.

The price is really good considering that Venice is expensive. The owner was really kind and helpful. Out room was tidy and clean.

The air conditioner didn’t heat up our room. Maybe we couldn’t use it properly but it wasn’t so cold so it was fine. The hotel is a bit old so the furniture and bathroom are also old but clean.

Convenient for catching the 6L bus to Venice. If you return after 10pm you have to catch the 6 bus which involves a 14 minute walk to the hotel.Room was good size. Has kettle but no cups! Has a room downstairs with vending machine.

We were up 2 flights of stairs with our suitcases but are getting used to it in Europe. No lift. Fan light was noisy.

All good, there was AC and fan. There was private parking for motorcycle.

we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. We had very clean and white towels and bedsheets. Next day our rooms were cleaned. Everything was very good. Thank you!

Nice staff who got my room ready early. Close to several bus lines going to the lagoon. Wasn't even a very long walk just to the central train station. A few small shops and cafes are nearby. Quiet neighborhood. Air conditioning works well, there was a sink in the room which is really nice. The shared bathrooms were never busy and had hot water all the time that was easy to adjust.Lots of storage space in the room, and a desk.

The quiet neighborhood means that there isn't a lot to eat nearby, but a couple of choices. The Wi-Fi was really terrible. Like unusable most of the time. Could use one more pillow in the room, and another outlet, but there is one right by the bed which is handy.

I don't like anything in that place.The way how they try to rob you because you been late hr after check in staff is not a comments...and on top of this if you are proper website should remove this hotel from your business.They are advertising that single room have bathroom and shower ..but is not true paying 100pound for sharing bathroom and toilet?!...Is just not a comments what I had experience...

It was clean, close to bus stop to go to Venice. It was a good deal for the price.

I did not like the room smelling even though the room and bathroom were clean.
