Overlooking the lagoon at Tamarin Bay, Sands Suites Resort & Spa is located on Flic-en-Flac Beach. The resort features a spa, a gym and 2 tennis courts. Free Water sport activities are available. With elegant decor, the bright and spacious rooms feature a balcony or terrace. They are equipped with a flat-screen TV, a telephone, a mini-bar and air conditioning. The bathroom has a separate bath and shower. You can enjoy sea and garden views. Sands Suites Resort has 3 restaurants. Tamarind Terrace serves International and local cuisine while guests can dine a la carte at Spices. The PinkPepperCorn is the resort's beach restaurant and specializes in romantic dinners. On selected days, the resort offers evening entertainment. Cocktails can be enjoyed at the bar. Guests can unwind at the spa, which offers 4 treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam room and a hair and beauty saloon. Complimentary water sports activities include wind surfing and snorkeling. We felt that Sands Suites Resort and Spa was the perfect location for us and the best on Flic en Flac Beach! We were there for our 20th anniversary and the staff made everything so special for us, from decorating our room on our actual anniversary, to when we arrived at the restaurant for dinner that night, they had a special table set up with candles and flowers, and not only that, but they surprised us and the chef made us an anniversary cake. This place was incredible and the service is the best Ive ever experienced anywhere in the world. The restaurant does such a great job of accommodating every dietary requirement. For breakfast, they have fresh fruits, yogurts, breads, freshly made Belgian waffles, crpes You name it they have it. For dinner they have a rotating menu to keep things exciting. They always have multiple vegetarian options as well as several different kinds of vegetables, fruits, meats. It really is incredible. One of the other things that we thought was so amazing was that we had to check out at noon and our flight wasnt until 11 PM that night. The hotel stored our luggage and let us hang out at the resort all day and they even have a changing/shower room so you can get ready before your flight. It was almost as if we had not checked out at all. We also had arrived at nine in the morning when check-in wasnt until three in the afternoon and our room was ready for us when we got there and they brought us a plate of freshly baked pastries, as well as lattes and cappuccinos. I am still blown away at the service from this hotel. I looked at every hotel on Flic en Flac beach and I can honestly say Sands Suites is the absolute best. The property is immaculate, the water pressure in the rooms was amazing, the beds were super comfy and the AC was nice and cold. The pool area is stunning and theyve got about 30 loungers plus several more loungers down on the beach if you dont wanna sit around the pool. The views from this hotel are also amazing.
