View was good price reasonable

Front desk staff was rude and disrespectful

Everything is accessible and so well laid out to ensure everyone in the group has everything they need for a wonderful stay

The only thing I found annoying was all inclusive customers not allowed a decent glass for their drinks in any of the bars

Floor in room + bathroom was not very clean, and I found a yellow cleaning cloth left in the fridge.Very bad sewage smell in the bathroom. It didn't bother me much as I only stayed for 2 nights, but for a whole week stay or more that would not be agreeable.

It's clean.The bed is good. Wifi is good. Free- shuttles to Playa del Carmen is a bonus. A yacht port with a handful of restaurants nearby is nice.

All facilities are very 80s. Like the TV is a classic satellite TV with no Smart TV function; Show at the hall every nights are more or less for the elderly.All pools (including the Spa) are 1.3-1.4m deep except the baby pool. This is not a good resort for a 1.5m woman like me.The bathroom offers shower only so I can't even enjoy a bath when all the Spa and pools are too deep for me.

The rooms were very good, spacious with a comfortable bed, excellent shower and immaculately clean. The cleaning lady (Ana) was very good. The pool area was very clean and well maintained. A good size gym with sufficient equipment. There were no sun bed wars as there were always plenty spare around the pools.

Drinks service was often very slow particularly in the restaurant. Whilst there was a reasonable choice of food (dinner was better than lunch) it wasn’t very hot. The piano bar wasn’t big enough for the number of guests to have a drink after dinner and often there was no seats in the reception adjoining area. The area downstairs by the restaurant was a bit soulless. In warmer weather when you could sit outside I’m sure it would be better. The gym would be better with air conditioning.

Generally the food was good and the facilities were good

Fabulous stay! The pool areas were beautiful, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Spa was a lovely extra too. Our whole family really enjoyed the food, there was something for everyone and I can see how much effort has gone into making the space feel like a restaurant and not the noisy canteen vibe that can happen with buffets. Rooms were spotless and modern. I liked that there was a good mix of nationalities staying.

I attempted to order a birthday cake for my partner's birthday on St Valentine's Day. I first attempted to arrange for a birthday cake, several weeks before pur reservation date, plus the day before arrival & on the actual day of our arrival. Extremely dissapointing, as the cake never materialised. The hotel staff's attitude was that this request, was something trivial & unimportant!How difficult can it be, especially when this was requested several weeks before the arrival date?I have had a birthday cake delivered to me in a hotel, on my birthday, even though the hotel staff were unaware until arrival! Extremely dissapointed & this tainted the weekend, as it was all about my partner's birthday & would have meant a lot to him. My partner had recently had major surgery & experienced loss of loved ones. This was one way to show him he was loved & appreciated. Next time, I'll book a different hotel.

Air con was terrible complained 3 times but did not work properly, all the staff said was It does not work unless it’s 23c outside yet the room itself was boiling hot. Never resolved over 5 day stay and ruined it as could not sleep in the heat (inside very hot) cleaner went into my room even though it had a do not disturb on the door. Staff answering the phone at reception rude when answering. No table service at piano bar felt a bit lacking quality for a supposed 4 star resort.

From the entrance you have to walk at least 5 minutes to reach the room. Our room has a door (closed) that communicates with another room but the soundproofing was not excellent

The noise!!!!!! 1. I could literally hear the person in the room next to mine & each time they make any movement, close/open their door, cough etc. 2. Woke up with a banging headache each morning thanks to loud noise from cleaning, movements etc

We had an adjourning door to the apartment next door. Soundproofing wasn’t great.

Splendid resort in Costa Calero. Spacious and comfortable room, very clean. Location is good and parking easy. Facilities are in abundance and the half board was very tasty.

Half board does not include drinks.

Pools are fabulous, spa facilities good, room was spotless, and ver comfortable

No kettle or cups in the room and the food in both restaurants was not always hot

Excellent location able to walk to Quemada and Puerto del Carmen. Also used free bus service to PdelC and local buses to Playa Blanca. The evening entertainment was fair. Accommodation and food good. Staff also good and our room cleaner excellent. Good facilities. Used table tennis and lounges.

Had to complain about people reserving beds by putting out towels. Suggest pool attendants collect in said towels then guests would have to collect ( and pay?) for a new set. It does need sorting ….that’s the only downside.

Lovely hotel & grounds, all very clean and tidy. The restaurant was lovely and bright, nicely decorated & food was lovely. Beautiful view from 5th floor room. Highly recommended.
