Hotel Ristorante La Sorgente

The location, it was s little bit far from Lago Di Como, so it was really peaceful. And also the staff was really kind, and the views from there, unbelievable! I really recommend eating in the hotel restaurant every time you get the chance to.

Beautiful little town, nice clean rooms, breakfast was good.. beds were comfy and rooms were warm when you needed and cold when you wanted

The door locks!!! Not only are they impossible to use, The noise they make for all of the other guests is quite annoying, and you can hear them at all hours of the night and morning clicking and clacking as they unlock.

Everything was beautifully set up, hosts were superb, food was excellent, i enjoyed my stay very much. Also a beautiful high mountain view of the lake below. :D

The limited transportation up the mountains. Busses are not as common. After 5h30 there's no more busses so one has to be back by then. No sundowners on the lake. :( but i would still recommend the place. Own Vehicle is preferable.

Breakfast was very rich. The location was uphill, very nice for the view. To go to town buses were available, though unfortunately not very frequent.

Good location, staff a bit reserved, but later on okay. Very comfortable room and balcony sight tremendous. Breakfast okay.

Tina was fantastic helpful and very thoughtful of our needs as were other staff. Davide n Tina were friendly with great sense of humour. Location is magic. Public transport was interesting some bus drivers lovely and helpful others impatient and rude. Once on bus easy to get to Menaggio and ferry to Varenna and Bellagio.

Cannot fault hotel and staff they were exceptional.

Breakfast was delicious, lots of variety. Location- too far away from Lake Como. Staff very helpful.

We requested twin beds and were given a double bed.

The room was okay. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was good. The location is very nice, the room had a view of the lake and mountains.

There was no fan in the room and it was 40 degrees. The hotel provided a small fan which was not working properly. We had difficulty in sleeping as it was humid that day.

The coffee at breakfast was very good. Hotel has a car park.

It is a tired looking place, from the rooms to the restaurant area the bed/pillows were uncomfortable. The sheets had hair on them It is quite a way out from the town, 1 hour walk down and and 1.5 nearly on way back up. The busses do not run on a Sunday.

The room was big with a balcony with views on the lake and mountains.The was a big outdoor swimming pool with great views.The restaurant was nice and affordable with many options.

Lovely view on Como Lake, breakfast was also very nice, variety of choices and nice terrace to eat with a lovely view. Lovely host.

The property has private parking that no one is looking after. We had trouble to find a space with small Fiat panda, even we specified we need car park space. Other guests just parked the way that was blocking others to park. It was a real faf that could of been avoided if parking spaces were marked. The location of the place is near the top of mountain, some people may find it a good thing, but having a travel sickness it was a bit difficult for me. Also far away from good restaurants. About 20 mins driving. Also in the bathroom there was no shelf to put cosmetics on, I found it problematic.

Stunning views from the outside dining area. Highly recommend the pizzas. If your travelling with a Motorcycle they have secure parking

Staff - One of the best and most welcoming staff I have ever seen. The guys and gals running this place are just brilliant. Not only they opened the bar for just the two of us late in the evening but also gave us excellent tips about local places to visit and restaurants to eat. A special shout out to Tina (manager). Shes. Great host and excellent knowledge about local places of interest. We even got our breakfast packed as we were leaving early and our friends got a lift early in the morning to the nearest bus stop with directions and timings of busses all the way to Bergamo. Very helpful and welcoming. Location - Great view of Lake Como from the terrace and the rooms. Price - Cant beat this place!Car park - Massive free car park available.

The stay in this hotel was great. * The staff is super nice and helpful. * The room is clean and everything works fine. * We got a room at floor 3 with balcony and great view with Como lake. * The hotel's restaurant is great, worth for money food and great Como lake view, as well as the breakfast. Some extra tips: * You better have a car to get to this hotel, and the mountain road is quite steep, be careful.

First of all, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to David and Tina. You two are the most amazing hosts we have EVER met. You made our entire trip exceptionally special and unforgettable. Staying at your place truly felt like being at home. Not to mention, the room and food were phenomenal, and the service was impeccable, scoring a perfect 100/100.Due to the delays in our flight and train schedules, we only managed to reach Menaggio around midnight. At that hour, taxis and public transportation were unavailable to take us to our accommodation. Thankfully, when we contacted the hotel, they went above and beyond to arrange a ride for us. Upon our arrival, not only did they waive the late check-in fee, but they also kindly offered us drinks, recognizing the exhaustion we felt after the long journey. This experience set a positive tone for our trip, and we sincerely value their assistance.In addition, the breakfast each morning is delectable, and our absolute favorite is their CAPPUCCINO. We got to have dinner at the hotel for two nights in a row, and the experience was just as enjoyable. Its worth noting that dinner times are consistently bustling at the hotel. We also had the chance to meet some wonderful individuals during our stay, which truly contributed to the homely ambiance.During our last day, David and Tina surprised us with a free ride down to the city centre (their is no public transport on a Sunday). Their thoughtful gesture left us nearly speechless, and we are incredibly grateful for everything theyve done. Without a doubt, if our travels bring us back to Menaggio, we will eagerly return to their establishment. Our heartfelt thanks for making our stay truly exceptional!

The location and views. Spacious rooms, the restaurant, breakfast! Didnt use the swimming pool but looked good.

Fantastic view, great swimming pool. Breakfast was very good. Very friendly staff. The guy even offered to collect us from Menaggio after dinner, if we weren't able to get a taxi. Thank you.
