    Pros +

    • The personnel was very nice, the cleaning ladies, waiters at breakfast and the receptionist at Belvedere. Even though some people commented here that wifi was mot working, we were connected at all times (2nd floor). We also arrived when temperatures outside dropped to 10 degrees and while people here complained about rooms being cold, ours was very warm and comfy.
    • Central location, beautiful building with lots of history, friendly staff. Free baby cot and free tickets to Aquaforum if you ask at reception.
    • It was strange to be the only guests.Breakfast was good with scrambeld eggs. Very nice city and the View from the balkony was nice.

    Cons -

    • This hotel has enormous potential, but lacks in many details - and is certainly not what you would expect of a 4-star hotel. When we arrived at 4pm, the main door was locked and no one in sight, only a phone number. But no one answered my call. After a few minutes of waiting, a friendly lady opened the door and checked us in.Another thing that we have never encountered in any hotel is that our room was not made up during our 2-night-stay. So we ended up with full trash cans and almost no more toilet paper.
    • The ABSOLUTE NON-EXISTance of human beings inside HOTEL... the whole time!
    • Restaurant closed, breakfast were poor, 4 stars not achieved

I felt I had been on the moon... by MYSLEF - alone!Checkin - digital... during 4 night stay... had only seen the room-maids shortly a.m. --- ditto breakfast lady.Otherwise I had seen NOBODY in hotel.

The ABSOLUTE NON-EXISTance of human beings inside HOTEL... the whole time!

Big rooms well decorated, no shower was only negative.

Restaurant closed, breakfast were poor, 4 stars not achieved

    Disappointing

There is no parking available. The hotel has some dedicated parking in front of it, but they are always full, because I think anyone can park there and nobody is checking. Almost nobody speaks English in the hotel and there is nobody at the reception. Wifi was not working in my room and nobody was willing to help me on that.

    Good breakfast

There was no staff, no reception, no personal, the hotel seemed abandoned, when we arrived we had problem to check in due to malfunction of the automatic system , apparently all the guests had this problem. The room was the one we paid for. But this was not very the problem, it was maily the atmosphere which you don't want to find when you go for hotel. The guests are on their own and not there is no care for them at all. Better to go to airbnb. I understand the crisis and the cuts but still people are paying for a service that is not there.

It is very overpriced for what it is, and even though the one double room was very nice, it was not good value for money.

No reception and no staff on site at all, which makes it feel very soulless and like a better airbandb - which is not what I expected from the website. There was no bar and online online check in - which only became clear on arrival.

    Bad

Complete ignorance on the side of the accommodation. After booking, payment and electronic check-in, no possibility to contact someone from the accommodation, no reaction to number of phone calls. The only response to our complaints - on the next day - "we're sorry".They didn't even think to apologize, automatically provide a refund or any kind of compensation. After many complaints and numerous communication, the refund was provided after 43 days.Terrible attitude.

Location. Spacious comfortable room value for money.

No WI FI at all. Poor choice of TV channels.

    5PavelPosted on: 9-5-2022

Location on the main street, the shared spaces in the hotel were spacious and had a really nice look.

The hotel is not a 4-star hotel. The furnishings are worn out and not of high quality (which one would expect in this category). Generally, the hotel needs more love & refurbishing. Even though we were accommodated as a pair and the hotel was half empty, we got separate beds.Breakfast was of poor quality (poor choice of food, cheaper cheeses and ham). From warm food only oatmeal and sausages. There was sparkling wine available - probably to make up for the rest, but I would rather have at least scrambled eggs available...

The location and the size of the room. And extra bonus we could park our motorbike inside!

wonderful old hotel felt almost like a museum and so well kept. We stayed only one night and it was very comfortable. Free pass to the local aquapark if you ask the receptionist.

Coffee wasn't good at all, instant coffee disguised as real. I don't know why hotels take such short cuts. Good coffee in the morning is essential.Strange that the hotel reception is closed, if you need help you have to call.
