Park Hotel Arbanassi

The location and the size of the room.

No facilities at all - the pool works only till 19.00 pm, the sauna is paid, and was not in because "there were not enough clients." The air conditioning is not working, so the room temperature is controlled central. In our room was a sauna! We left all the night the window open, but still was so warm. The refrigerator in the room was broken. I asked on the reception for maps of the village - they didn't have....The breakfast is only 2 hours in the morning - from 8 till 10.00 an, very poor selection and I found mold in one piece of bread! But the waitress was occupied to smoke on the terrace....It's definitely not worth the money and absolutely not a 4 stars Hotel!

Staff is friendly and welcoming. Studio was spacious. Lovely panoramic balcony. Breakfast was good. Spa was free on the day of our arrival so we enjoyed that. Overall good experience.

Bathroom had mold. Toilet was broken. We found it cooler in the pool than expected.

There was little bit cold, the heating was from ac. The breackfast poor, not to many choices. The parking was full. No view from the room

The location has an excellent large panoramic view; there is a park near-by, with restaurants around. The rooms are large, with all the facilities. There is a very good pool, a jacuzzi, table tenis, biliard table, and a playground for kids both inside as well as outside. The interior yard is very nice for an after-meal walk. They have also enough parking places.The staff was nice and communicative. The breakfast as also dinner were very good. The towels had been changed every day.

The room temperature control was not working properly, maintaining a high temperature with almost no control (only on-off). Also in other rooms they have nets to protect the open windows for flying bugs to enter, my room did not have.

Worst 4 stars hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Very dirty, there were spider nests in the bathroom, dirty things forgoten in the closet, somebody smoked in the room before and the smell was awfull, they forgot to make the appointment for massage (I made the reservation the day before), the massagist tried to charge me more than the price announced at the reception, breakfast under the expectation for 4 stars hotel.

First of all, I've set very low expectations after booking a room at this hotel, and this is the mindset that you need to approach in order to enjoy it. After all, for me, it was a decent experience. Here it is what I liked:- The location is very nice, near the center surrounded by pleasant landscapes.- The hotel is big, equipped with most of the things you would need, including some spa services (massage, pool, jacuzzi, sauna).- The room is big, comfy, and fitted with everything to enjoy the stay.- The restaurant food was good and more than decent priced.- The staff was present and helpful, ready to please you.

- The hotel, although it is 4 stars ranked, in reality, barely meets 2. It does not have enough parking slots to accommodate all the guests' cars. Worn furniture. The pool enclosure was dirty on the ceiling, and all the dirty drops from the ceiling (due to condens) were falling into the pool.- The room was not very clean. Dust cobbles and spider webs could be seen in every corner. The bathroom is warned and could need some investment.- The breakfast served was the same every day without having too many options.

In Arbanassi there is absolutely no store, which is most uncommon. It is not a dislike related to the hotel, but would have made me reconsider the location or shop ahead, had I known.

The view was nice, very big room, nice garden.

They don't have so many options for the breakfast.

The bathroom was not a 4* hotel bathroom.

The location and the view were good. Room and bathroom/toilet were spacious. There was an elevator. Receptionists were polite. There was an underground parking, but the parking spots were limited. Another parking option was outside the hotel - on the street.

The rooms weren't very tidy. There were black hairs everywhere, from the housekeeper, probably. There were some little left-over stains on the towels. There was only a central air-conditioning system, which wasn't working in the room at all. There were barely any electrical sockets in the room - just around the TV and mini-bar area. There were no shower gels in the bathroom - only shampoo and hair conditioner. The bed was rather uncomfortable, and one mattress was slightly standing lower on one side. It was very noisy since the walls were very thin and no noise canceling was applied - we could hear people talking, watching TV, banging doors in the hall, babies crying toddlers screaming, etc. It's definitely not a 4-star hotel level experience. Breakfast was rather poor, too, with the lowest possible products' quality and poor assortment. The price you pay for one night in Park Hotel Arbanassi should definitely be around 2 times lower than what they ask for. Won't be coming back.

Nice location & view, friendly stuff.

Outdated furniure and bathroom design (some mold, too, around the tub). The sheets are very old/used; there were holes in them. If this is what a 4 stars room should look like, next time I'll pass and just go to a granny's guesthouse ?

Arbanasi it's one of my favorite places you can be there in 3 hours from Bucharest even faster than the Prahova Valley in Ro.The hotel si located in the yard of Todor Jivkov residence. The hotel is having great piscina, nice place for sunbeds and a nice green area behind. Also is having an underground parking place. The restaurant is spacious and is having a good menu.

There are only 2 drawbacks - the room are not very well cleaned we found some spiderweb, the bed sheets are quite small..- the breakfast was identical in all 4 mornings.

A great hotel with amazing views. Staff were very friendly and helpful with all queries etc. Lovely food at the restaurant including a good variety for breakfast.

The restaurant of the hotel is 10/10, the beds are very good.

If you have a room towards the pool may be noisy.

The personnel from the reception was very helpful.The pool is very nice with a very beautiful garden.

You have all you need, but the facilities look a bit outdated.

The party that ruined our Sunday

Location, amazing view, well maintained grounds, room upgrade, the size of the rooms and comfortable beds, the playground and the trampoline located near the restaurant. Staff was lovely too.

Breakfast quality. It would be nice to have something better than the cheapest products available on the market. To have freshly baked bread would be lovely, homemade croissants or Bulgarian pastries, pancakes or local produce such as jams, butter, milk and yogurt. The juice and coffee from the free breakfast buffet where awful, but the lavazza coffee from the bar was great.The rooms are in a l need of redecoration, walls are stained. Carpets need washing, our feet were black from walking on them. The hotel chimney smelled quite a lot while we were sitting on the balcony and it needs a filter as black particals come out of it and they land on everything left on the balcony. We had a broken mosquito net and quite a few mosquitos in the room, which was addressed accordingly and in a timely manner by the staff - net was fixed and plug in repellant provided.The swimming pool could do with a filter/water replacement.Coffee facilities/bottled water in the room are absent. You can't get coffee until 8am (when the restaurant opens).The trampoline was a lot of fun for the kids but the net needs replacing as zipper/clips are broken and a small child fell out of it and hurt itself while we were there.The TV wasn't working properly (the picture wasn't clear) but we did not report that.

Not a real 4*hotel, some modernization needed especially in the bathroom. Pool small but good for the kids.

The facilities are all in good working order, the pool was perfect for our kids, the playground next to the restaurant made it easy for us to watch our kids while enjoying the food and the view. The staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay and even packed us breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning. The surrounding area is also very beautiful with eateries and things to do.

Our stay was too short.
