Pros +
- The staff were incredible. Made us feel right at home. Hotel employee at the front desk was very accomodating. The housekeepers went as far as helping me carry my son sometimes when my hands were full. Fransico in reservations went above and beyond
- The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, and the breakfast was absolutely excellent, fresh, tasty, and plentiful.
- We were kindly upgraded to a vila which we absolutely loved, it was clean, private and super relaxing by the sea. The food was excellent quality and the cocktails were divine. The staff there were all super friendly and really helpful, we were absolutely delighted with our stay at can salia and will definitely return back.
Cons -
- The bed was very small and the shower pressure wasn't the greatest. The internet was slow
- “Presidential” suite with no privacy - got ground floored apartement. No bathrobe. “Beachfront”? There is no beach, just stone and bad smelling watter - see other reviews.
- The prices were quite high but we did feel the quality was of a very good standard.

The concierge team was incredibly helpful — from check-in to checkout, they assisted us through WhatsApp and Booking.com, arranging taxis and even helping us find a private boat rental for a day trip. The rooftop infinity pool had stunning views of the beach, and we really enjoyed the live band and great drinks at the rooftop bar. The bartenders were awesome, and the overall vibe was beautiful and relaxing. The room itself was a great size, and the hotel’s aesthetic is modern and stylish.
There was a plumbing issue in the bathroom — every time we showered, water would leak out and pool around the toilet area, which was frustrating. Housekeeping wasn’t the most thorough, and the room didn’t feel fully cleaned at times. Also, it was disappointing that there’s no room service; even when ordering food or drinks from the rooftop, you have to bring it down yourself or pay extra. It would really elevate the experience if in-room dining was an option.
Gorgeous place. Spacious rooms, very clean, everything is very well taken care of. Very modern, sleek and yet calm design, well isolated rooms, magnificent views. The staff is absolutely amazing, really helpful and genuinely kind and goes above and beyond. The private “beach” and green zones are perfect for kids to play safely, nice music, lazy lizards, great breakfast, and absolutely stunning sunsets from the rooftop. But really - the staff is incredible. We weren’t bothered once with housekeeping and yet it was always clean when we came back to the room. We asked whether we could change rooms and got an upgrade instead. They kept our paella warm for while we watched the sunset yet were worried the rice would be overcooked. They let us pack in peace when we were late for check out. Not a single worry moment. Thank you!
One thing that is more of a preference - we’re not big fans of en-suite bathrooms, it wasn’t very convenient - but again, when we asked if we could change rooms they had a room available with separate bathroom zone which was perfect. The other can be fixed I think: automatic very bright light in the bathroom when you enter… quite annoying by night, especially with kids. Maybe either a regular switch or dimmer or a much lower automatic light option could work better. But it’s a minor thing really.
Lovely staff, family friendly vibe, super helpful with recommendationDelicious restaurant attached Terrace with beautiful viewsComfy beds
The shower/bathroom door is that matted transparence so not ideal for privacy
Lovely staff, friendly, funny and made us feel very welcome. No request was too much and responses were lightning fast.
The hotel was lovely, people were great! Shower/bathroom set up was odd but clean! Great sunsets!Staff were lovely and a great part of Ibiza to explore the island!
The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant and comfortable stay.
“While the stay was overall pleasant, some details could be improved to offer a more refined experience. For instance, the bathroom door doesn’t fully contain water from the shower, causing the floor to get quite messy after just a few minutes. The automatic bathroom lights, though convenient during the day, can be disruptive at night as they light up the entire room and may wake others. Breakfast options like bread and pancakes didn’t feel particularly fresh—preparing them on demand could enhance the experience. Additionally, the tap water had an unpleasant taste, so it would be thoughtful to provide more than one complimentary bottle of water in the room.
The restaurant, room, staff were great.
The room could of had some tea, coffee and milk. Also no washing up cloth. Little touches. Also the kettle in our room wasn’t very good and burnt your hand when it got hot. But other than that everything was excellent .
We didnt like anything too much. I imagine the size of the fridge would be beneficial in mid-summer.
The hotel as been renovated recently but the underlying design related issues have not been addressed well. The seafront is strewn with plastic rubbish and graffiti, which is a shame. It rained on our first day and we were asked to keep our soggy, frayed and ripped pool towels for another day for sustainability reasons which was painful. No parking available. No laundry service. There is simply not enough room for kids (and there were a lot) made worse by the rule around no kids on the rooftop bar and pool area. Overlooked by an older hotel that was being used by seasonal workers and locals. Our terrace was overlooked directly on 3 sides so no privacy. Sofa bed not fit for human use, so incredibly hard. The pool was missed off the refurb priority list and looks more at home in a hotel in Beirut with scuffy rendering all around the side and sharp edges formed from hastily laid tiling. The breakfast was a daily challenge, laid out in the tiny corner of the small dining room (which doesn't seem to be big enough for the number of hotel guests), you had to use your elbows or children to get what you wanted and even then it was underwhelming (wholegrain croissant ranked the best). We left after 2 nights having paid for 4 through booking.com. The hotel said they could nothing even though when we stayed in France last year the hotel were able to speak with booking.com to organise a token refund. Lazy. Plenty of better places to spend your time on this island.
Setting was lovely and choice was good
We chose not to eat in the hotel at all as it was so expensive. And orange juice was €7
Location, facilities, staff
Great location. A little bit off the crazy touristic area and gorgeous sunsets… Loved the free yoga classes. Super friendly staff. The rooftop view is amazing.
The bathroom set up is weird especially when you are staying with kids. The toilet door can’t be closed properly, it’s in the bedroom and it has movement lights (whenever you enter the bedroom the light goes on automatically in the toilet room)…
Interiors and smell and staff
No tea and coffee in room and no water station although they give you a refillable bottle in the room . We had to keep going to the gym and asking for a key to fill up and get water
Everything about this hotel was amazing. The staff are super helpful and lovely, we got married during our stay here and they went above & beyond. Everything was so clean and the food was great.
Only downside was that the drainage to the shower wasn’t great and often overflowed in our room.
Clean, welcoming, relaxing, friendly, contemporary, quiet and a great vibe
The shower leaked through the door onto the floor and maybe end of season but the lager was not fresh
Can Salia is a beautiful property with plenty of areas to relax and views of the sea from almost every aspect. The rooms are clean and spacious, the rooftop pool is exceptional and the restaurants had great options for breakfast and dinner.
The hotel’s facilities were top-notch: a well-equipped gym, beautiful pools and views, and excellent customer service. Everything was spotless, and the location couldn’t have been better. They even had entertainment on the rooftop – though it wasn’t every day, it was a nice bonus when it happened! The welcome drink was a nice touch too!
The beds were unbelievably hard – it felt like I was sleeping on the floor! Surprisingly, by the third night, my back and I had made peace with it. As for the food, I gave the hotel restaurant two chances, but unfortunately, both times it fell short of expectations. To top it off, I was asked to pay a tourism tax at checkout. I don’t mind contributing to the local economy, but it would have been much more convenient if that was just included in the total hotel bill from the start.
