- The location was very good. Walk right down to the beautiful beach. Walk to lots of restaurants and some shops. Lots of small grocery stores so you don’t have to pay the super high prices for hotel food and wine. Liked the rooms outdoor space. Made the very small room a lot more livable.
- This property was magnificent! Beautiful beach, amazing amenities, delicious meals and wine served by the hotel restaurants. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience.
- I recently stayed at Domes Noruz and while the property itself is beautiful and most of the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, our experience had a few issues that are worth noting. The concierge team, unfortunately, was not very helpful when it came to assisting with reservations and local recommendations. We were left to figure things out on our own despite multiple requests. However, after raising our concerns, the team did step up — and a special thanks to Zoi who went out of her way to make things right by offering us a free taxi ride and a 30-minute massage, which we really appreciated.Another downside was the ant problem in our room — they were everywhere, even on the bed, which was disappointing for a hotel of this level. Additionally, the housekeeping service could be improved; while the staff member who cleaned our room was incredibly sweet and polite, the quality of the cleaning didn’t meet expectations.Overall, we had some ups and downs during our stay. The hospitality and willingness to make amends were definitely there, but attention to detail and consistency in service still need work.
Cons -
- The room was very small. We had a deluxe sweet but wasn’t deluxe enough for me. I would have liked a comfortable place to sit down inside the unit besides the bed. I didn’t think the service was very good,,,,maybe because we were early October so folks were not motivated. Asked for ice one day, didn’t get it. Went to the outdoor bar one day, 4 bar workers behind a wall, bs’ing with each other while we sat a long time empty drinks wanting to order another. Had a plunge pool in our room,,, very cold. Outdoor pools, very cold.

Really close to sandy beach, warm sea, great room, great breakfast, staff were excellent, turn down service, choice of pillows, complimentary daily bottles of water and welcome/goodbye gifts, gym excellent and quiet/underused, nice spa, great availability of beach towels, powerful walk in shower, food and drinks of high standard, close enough to town, plenty of restaurants in close proximity to hotel, nearby bus stop to town
Noisy event one evening right outside room, sea view was onto the pool and the way the rooms are set up means to enjoy the view you have to have the whole front of the room open to everyone in the pool so that wasn’t really worth it
Such a tasteful and well maintained space. Great location and most of all great staff
Nothing to complain about
Location and staff. Food was very good
The personal pool was unheated
Well appointed rooms and communal areas and v attentive staff.
Location- it is a 5 * hotel squished in between some low grade hotels in a dated, tatty beach resort. Google earth this hotel before you stay here. A hefty price tag for a view of pedaloes, inflatable toys and pizza & chip eateries (see pic). We went in October so it must be awful in peak summer months. The very thin hotel beach is public so there is a constant stream of tourists walking right in front of you.
The wonderful service and lovely staff . The food in the topos restaurant on property was divine and the breakfast buffet selection the best I have had in Greece
Breakfast was tops quality of selection and food Choices, excellent. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The choice of having a quiet area to just rest and The chair option services are attractive features.
The rooms are spacious but mediocre furnishings The biggest issue we had was the bathroom in the room, the shower stall is poorly designed, the flimsy curtain is cheap looking , messy and spilled Water everywhere, why not have a glass doors ?
Wonderful hotel with lovely, kind and responsive stuff. A very special thank to Front Office Manager Ms. Margarita Belaya, who guided us on our time in the city and many other things. Nice breakfast, good cocktails at the bar. I liked the room. There is a good restaurant with delicious Greek cuisine opposite the hotel. I hope to come here again.
The property is exquisite, serene and the staff exceptional. The pools are unbelievable, and the beach is absolutely perfect and sandy. The beds are very comfortable, including the pool and beach beds as well.
The rooms are awkward with bathroom sink/island in the middle of the room. Way too many knickknacks in the room that take up counterspace and unnecessary cube/chair that gets in the way. There is also a curve in the loft bedroom, which one can hit their head on easily. Be mindful of that if you are sleeping in the loft. Not great for adults-maybe ok for younger kids but property is 16+.
Beautiful property - we didn’t want to leave! Outstanding service, a huge should out to Elpida! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a pleasant stay! We would definitely stay again! The rooms were immaculate - such a relaxing and luxurious hotel!
Our experience at the hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. Everything is just as you see on the pictures and even more beautiful. As this is very important to me the quality of bed and variety of pilows were amazing.Breakfast was a special highlight, with a rich selection of fresh ingredients that catered to every taste. We particularly enjoyed the variety and quality of the food, which was of a very high standard.Resaturant is also petfect place for dinner. Attention to detail was evident throughout, adding to the sense of luxury and comfort. The service was impeccable, with every staff member going above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking the perfect place on Crete. I will definitely be returning!
There is nothing you will not like. And if you have small problem or need staff will solve this.
Excellent breakfast. Hotel is located right on the beautiful beach. Free parking if you choose to rent a car. Hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
Small rooms with tiny bathrooms. Very awkward room layout. We were constantly hitting our heads against the stairs to the top floor of the loft.
Honestly, the rooms are spacious. The beach is amazing with great waves!
Even though the hotel is a 5 star hotel, it really felt like 4. It is overly used and needs to be retouched. Staff are not as attentive as a 5 star hotel should be.
Gorgeous beach, excellent service and the food was better than anything we had in Italy.
Didn’t like the sink in the middle of the room - it didn’t allow for enough space for makeup/products
Pool is gorgeous and great for to swim laps or to lounge. There is also a quiet pool available. The breakfast and coffee are excellent. There is an outdoor gym with 2 bikes and weights and TRX. Yoga and pilates are offered for a small fee. It's mostly for beginners but I enjoyed the classes. The entire property is gorgeous and the staff incredible. We were very comfortable in our room and there was a spot for everything even though at first the room seemed small. The bed is very comfortable and the air conditioning is excellent. The beach was very relaxing. Great food for every meal. The Chania downtown area is very close and highly recommended to shop and go for dinner. Lots to see.
The staff was wonderful and everything was so peaceful and beautiful. The food was good too.
We had a little issue with our private pool but it was fixed quickly and we were compensated for the inconvenience so that was handled really well.
Staff are all incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel is very nice. Food and drink is good, the breakfast spread is particularly great. The location is great, just outside town enough to be quiet and relaxing, but close enough to pop in easily. The room was brilliant with some nice little thoughtful touches.
The rooms are a little noisy from other patrons.(could have been our room specifically) and most people would probably sleep fine unless they are light sleepers.Food is a little expensive, but it is tasty!
Beautiful property about 15 min drive away from Old Town Chania. Staff was very hospitable. Rooms were clean and serviced 2x daily. We had the Wellness Suite in the “Quiet Area” of the hotel and it was nice.
Remote property15 min drive away from Old Town Chania meant you needed to rent a car Since our room was located in the quiet area, it was very difficult to use the hot tub at night since it’s very loud Loft room was little tight and awkwardly configured — upstairs had a half bath and bed. You couldn’t fit anything more up there. Living area, full bathroom and whatever remaining space for your suitcase was located downstairs. Patio was quite large though.
