    Pros +

    • Everything was wonderful during our stay, but what made it even more wonderful were the staff who made us feel right at home. We all loved the food and the traditional Turkish breakfast. The view was breathtaking; it made us feel like we were in a different utopia. If we come back to Cappadocia, I would 100% choose Dream Of Cappadoccia again.
    • The location was the only redeeming feature. We had good coffee but bad greasy eggs with french fries for breakfast. The attitude of the staff was biased towards the Turkish clients who were allowed to smoke a hookah while we were dining so the smoke was overwhelming and quite frankly the food was terrible and over priced.
    • Loved the staff, loved the view and the property. Very responsive via WhatsApp.

    Cons -

    • The room was in a cave so it was dark, musty and little bits of grit and sand fell on everything. TBH, sleeping in a cave is a terrible idea for your health. There is dust everywhere. We had no hot water the first day and we really were concerned about how dirty we felt and how dirty the whole environment was. There were steep steps that were narrow and dangerous as the hotel on the side of a hill. The staff were not honest and our friends were told they owed money for a meal they didn't order and so they had to review the video footage which proved the staff were mistaken. The entire experience was one of financial exploitation.
    • Thought we would have a private balcony but didn't. A bit misleading room description but not a big deal.
    • Everything was nice

We liked the cave room and the location had views of balloon flights and was alongside Uchisar Castle. The air conditioning didn't work and it wasn't able to be fixed during our stay. The wifi was wired into the light socket so once the lights were turned off there was no wifi. Due to it being a cave room there was little mobile signal either.

The view of the canyons and mountains was amazing. Staff very kind and helpful.

The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious, and offered breathtaking views of the Cappadocian landscape. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The location is perfect—peaceful yet close to all the major attractions. It's a hotel with a great view, this is my second time staying here. I stayed here again in July last year. It is a fascinating place both in summer and in winter. From breakfast to room cleaning, from staff attention to dinner, it is truly a wonderful and fascinating establishment. Thank you for everything, Dream of Cappadocia.

    Everything was great.

We liked the location and exceptional views. The staff were lovely and always ready to help. The cave rooms were very unique

WiFi was not very good. Poor signal in room and keeps logging you out. Disappointed to find out many activities such as hot air balloons and horse riding being cancelled due to bad weather and in the surrounding area there are not many things to do when weather is very cold, wet or snowy!

Amazing place with a stunning panorama from the restaurant. The room is beautiful and matches the photos. Just be prepared for some stairs.

My adult son and I are traveling together. We stayed in the king suite which gave us plenty of room. He slept on the couch. The suite is stunning, and we each used the whirlpool bath daily. The hotel is located by Usicar castle and overlooks all of the valley. We could watch the balloons from our room. It is a very sleepy town but not far from other towns. They directed us to Moniqu restaurant and it is fabulous.

We struggled to get the temperature right in the room. It is a cave!

Staff here was amazing. We were welcomed by Mehmet when we arrived almost midnight after a long journey. His warmth and hospitality really made us feel very welcome. Berk was another exceptional asset to their hotel. He speaks English well and was very proactive in reaching to assist us with tours , transport and any queries we have. Every morning, the staff would prepare the breakfast spread, ready to welcome us into the dining hall. Really loved this place

If they could improve on the wifi. It will be perfect

Dream of Cappadocia is located beside Uchisar Castle. Its high location provides breathtaking scenic view of Cappadocia. The property is very new with high quality fittings and furniture. Staff of Dream of Cappadocia especially Berk were so friendly and helpful…making our stay an enjoyable and memorable one. To Berk….hope you like the drone video shots.

Very Happy with Dream of Cappadocia, the place is simply below the castle, with a fantastic view on the 'Pigeans' valley' and Göreme. The hotel itslef is really nice, rooms super comfortable, and personal is extremely friendly. And with a fanastic breakfast, we were ready to enjoy great days in CappadociaA special thanks to Berk who has been super helpful, organized for us some Air Balloon activity and always present for any need or question.Highly recommended

We struggled a bit with the Wifi, for which the connection was a bit difficult (credential dropping). Maybe a simpler solutio could be put in place

    10ChiaraPosted on: 11-15-2024

The hotel is really cool, well refurbished, clean and with a great view! The staff is really kind and always available to support in everything. Also breakfast is delicious with copious amount of food.

Maybe breakfast could start 30 minutes before (at 8am) to give you the opportunity to have it without rushing when you have excursions.

We had a wonderful stay at Dream of Cappadocia Hotel. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the area, close to everything you need. The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking, and our room was beautifully designed and comfortable. The breakfast was a highlight; there was a wide selection of delicious food, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome each morning.

Unfortunately, there were a few issues during our stay. The shower armature was loose and broke off when we tried to use it, causing water to leak heavily from the wall. Additionally, the towels and robes had a strong cigarette smell, which was unpleasant. Lastly, the WiFi kept disconnecting, and we had to get up each time to fix it, which was quite inconvenient.Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with some room for improvement.

Beautiful views , friendly staff , different eat hang out areas , location , friendly cats

    WiFi was unreliable

    10GlenfordPosted on: 11-9-2024

The room was very spacious and beautifully designed, with a unique modern cave inspired touch. The bathtub, placed in the living area, added to the overall charm. The location was incredible, offering stunning views, especially at sunrise when the hot air balloons filled the sky. Uchisar Castle is just a short walk away. The breakfast selection was good, and the staff were helpful. They were also accommodating with a late check-out request.

    10OksanaPosted on: 11-8-2024

EVERYTHING!!The place - very cosy & warm, the facilities - with touch to details, so it doesn't feel like hotel, but more like home, the views - breathtaking and magical.Especially sunrises on the top of the hill overlooking the valley where 100 of balloons are flying over. And of course my sons favourite spot - jacuzzi with the view of flying hot air balloons.True dream of Cappadocia!!

The only remark is to weak and unstable wi-fi signal in the room. But maybe done on purpose so you can truly switch off from the rest of the world and immerse in this magical beauty which felt like a dream

    10StefaniePosted on: 11-8-2024

The “Dream of Cappadocia” was actually a dream come true for us! The peace and quiet despite the perfect location directly below Uchisar Castle allows you to fully enjoy the fantastic view! The suite was warm, furnished with great attention to detail and only the highest quality materials, you won't want to leave! What should particularly be highlighted is the absolutely fantastic service from Berk and the rest of the team, always helpful, courteous and super attentive! Equally remarkable are the breakfast and restaurant, lovingly served delicacies in an unbeatable ambience! Be sure to keep it up and greetings to the cute kittens! Will definitely recommend the hotel!
