Karlik Evis is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed. The garden and the views of Uchisar Castle and valley are dreamy. The rooms are traditionally decorated, spacious, and immaculate. From our balcony we watched the balloons in the morning and the colors of the sun set reflected off the castle and valley in the evening. The hotel is in a quiet area and easy walking distance to the castle, restaurants, and shops. Breakfast is tasty, huge, and served all day. All of the staff were very kind and helpful and made us feel truly welcomed. When we asked where to find the Pigeon Valley hike to Goreme, instead of giving us directions, they gave us a ride in their personal car to the start of the trail. Thank you!

The place is amazing and wonderful. You treat everyone very elegantly and extremely kindly. The place itself is a masterpiece that cannot be described. It is a mixture of elegance and history blended in a wonderful and sensitive way. The beautiful thing about it is that it is suitable for tourism, relaxation and getting away from stress.

Amazing authentic Turkish breakfast. Great access to Uchisar and unbelievable views of balloons and the amazing rock and lookout. Also located close to millstone restaurant which was great

Steps around the bed were pretty dangerous of you game to get up to go the bathroom in the dark. Mattress is so low to the ground that you have to roll out of bed. Floor squeaks badly that you wake your spouse up when walking to or from the bed

The property was very beautiful and the view from the property was amazing. The hosts were very generous and kind and found them to have amazing contacts for tourism. Went with plan booked for balloon just asked him if something more can be arranged and he was kind to offer various plans within budgets.Very thankful to the Karlik Evi team to make this vacation rememberable.

Staff was amazing and accommodated all our needs. Breakfast was over the top! Gorgeous view from the panoramic rooms.

Lights in the jacuzzi area were too cold, we'd have wished for a warmer white. Some window glasses were a little blurred. Watch out digital nomads: Wi-Fi doesn't support VPN, so you're gonna have a hard time connecting to your company network.

Fantastic place to stay! Really nice view on the valley where the balloons fly every morning. Rooms are comfortable with many small gifts of the house (chocolates, fruits etc.) Personal is really kind.

The location, which was close to the center of Uchisar, was very good. The breakfast was served directly at your table, and was excellent. There was a wide range of choice including cooked eggs. The staff were both helpful and very friendly. We particularly like the view from our panorama room and the lovely garden.

What an amazing location! It must have one of the best views in all of Cappadocia. Our room had a retractable roof blind so we could look at the stars whilst we lay in bed and in the morning see balloons flying overhead. The view from the balcony is simply stunning and one I will never forget. If you want to watch the balloons at sunrise and there can't be anywhere better. The breakfast was an enormous, delicious Turkish spread served in the garden. The staff arranged a balloon flight for us at a great price and were always extremely helpful. You can see Uchisar Castle from the balcony and its only a 5 minute walk away along with many nearby restaurants and bars.

The spa tub in our room had a minor leak and the panel was loose but its such a minor thing and did not detract at all from our stay.

The property is beautiful! The staff are kind, thoughtful, and go out of their way to take care of their guests. This was by far the best treatment my husband and I have ever received from any form of accommodation, and we travel internationally with regularity. The hotel itself is gorgeous, there are tiny thoughtful touches everywhere you look. Our room was romantic, well air conditioned, and had a spectacular view of the balloons in the morning. These hosts care and take pride in their hotel, it shows in every thoughtful touch. Breakfast was incredible, they gifted us fresh fruit from the garden, and we were given bottles of water every time we left to adventure. Stay here!

Having spent nights in 5 star hotels for work, I have experienced exceptional service. However the staff, hotel and location made this the best stay I have had so far.This trip was solely to propose to my long term girlfriend and experience a romantic getaway. I hadn’t realised how wonderful this hotel was going to be……..I genuinely believe the photos do not do it justice.This hotel was a hidden gem where each room and the garden felt like an escape to a fairytale land not too dissimilar to a Disney cinema piece.A garden full of roses with an overview of the canyon where the balloons take off every morning.Tailored made breakfast set to when you want it and where you want it, it created an atmosphere of both opulence and a genuine care from the staff.The staff were by far the most amazing we have met. And we were always greeted with a smile which felt genuine. We were greeted by name by Gulten and Ali every morning and serviced by Abdullah while Mukteram ( our AMAZING chef) cooked our breakfast how we liked it and also greeted us every morning as she served us breakfast. They made it a family feel and without them the magical experience of the proposal would not be anywhere near what it was. After finding out I had proposed on a balloon they set up a rose scene breakfast and rose petals for our bedroom as a surprise of which I had not planned.They genuinely care about creating a magical experience, examples include the a pinboard with every wedding invite and card for all the couples that have stayed there in the main reception area.A rose garden with a view of Uchisar castle and the canyon overlooking Göreme.Two fantastic pools.Please do make sure you try their assortment of home made jams which they serve for breakfast.Lastly I wanted to thank Opo ( the owner) who came out to wish us farewell while congratulating us on our engagement. Thank you to Gulten, Ali, Abdullah and Mukteram and apologies to anyone who I have missed out.

This is an unbelievably beautiful location and we were upgraded to a panoramic room. Great views from the room. Ever so friendly staff with exceptional service . The breakfast was like a feast although it was predominantly cheese olives and bread with a huge selection of jams and dips. Can’t rate this hotel enough. fantastic stay. Worth every penny. The plus is you are near Uchisar Castle the only negative is the town is very quiet with not much activity, but we chose two nights in Uchisar and two nights in Göreme. So best of both worlds.

The Wi-Fi disconnected very quickly so had to keep logging in. Other than this nothing negative to say.

We had an absolutely amazing relaxing time at Karlık Evi Hotel. The hotel is spacious and spotless, with great décor. Owner and staff are very caring, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Their positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for us was very much appreciated. We had an early flight to catch, a breakfast bag was given to us to take to airport. The room we stayed in for 3 nights was beautiful, very clean and there were little touches like candles, incense sticks, snacks and water provided daily. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious and organic with a huge variety of options! The gardens and sitting areas are spacious and relaxing. Loved the gorgeous views from our balcony including wakening up to balloons flying in the sky. I could go on and on, I can’t fault the place and will definitely recommend to my family and friends and hopeful I will be able to go back in the future.

Everything ! We could choose our room at the booking. The staff is amazingly nice. We even had a breakfast box as we had an early flight. The breakfast is huge and very tasty, thus it is from 8 to 5 pm, no rush ! Transfers were also organized appropriately.

Everything was just perfect ?This was my best stay till date !! Property has a very cosy and vintage vibe.I booked the room with glass view and could see the ? at night. Everyone at the property was very friendly and warm , and went beyond to make our stay perfect. Breakfast spread was too good and their small personalised gestures made the stay more memorable. Ismail took effort to prepare special vegetarian dish for me. Location is also good. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.
