Cons -

  • Where do I start? Cafe servicing the pool areas closing way too early. It was closed around 5pm. The bathrooms were a total disaster. Our shower in room 401 was missing a panel door and the water was "hitting" the sink furniture which was rotten and pieces were missing. Most important in room 402, my friends daughter was taken shower and once she opened the shower door, the entire glass shattered. When I went to the front office, the employees reaction was unspoken! Instead of asking of the little girl was ok, he seemed annoyed and mentioned that this has never happened before-Even though or shower door in room 401was already missing a panel! So yes, it has happened before! The next morning, I mentioned it again to the front office and the ladies reaction was also below par-She asked if I was local (!) what is the difference and what is the point of this question? To sum it up, great location but the hotel needs to be closed down and renovated (not sure what the owner is doing during the winter and not correcting crucial issues as the ones mentioned above). It is a shame!
  • The bathroom drain didn't take water in quickly enough so the floor started flooding over the shower area.
  • Room was a bit small and kinda old, pool was very very cold

Beautiful place with a perfect sea view. The staff were kind and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Everything was just right for a relaxing stay. We'd love to come back!

Nothing!

The location of the hotel is good, right by the sea, so there’s no need to go anywhere else for swimming. We booked a room with a balcony, which was very convenient for drying swimsuits and towels. Without it, that would have been a problem.

If you like swimming in warm water, you won’t find it here; the sea in front of the hotel is quite cold, but very clean.

We loved the location and the fact that there was direct access to the beach. The hotel made sure there is easy access with stairs and sandbags to make the entry to the water easier. The pool area was generally nice, although some of the chairs need to be replaced. The room was large and had a vintage and provincial charm that we liked. The staff was generally polite and responsive, the A/C was working great. At night we slept with the windows open, hearing the birds chirping early in the morning. We loved the garden and the flowers. The restaurant was in a very nice location, right on the waterfront, delightful. Walking to the village was generally easy and acceptable. This was the first time we stayed in this hotel and generally, we liked it.

The bathroom needs some updating - the painted-over tiles on the floor looked very dated. The carpet in the entrance and common areas of the building we were staying looked not very clean and unsanitary. We had a snack at the pool which was very average, although my friends told me that they had the best margarita ever. I am sorry I missed out on that.

Beautiful property right by the sea and a short walk from the cobblestone streets of the town. The sea was beautiful for swimming and there were plenty of lounge chairs to use by the water or in the garden. Big thanks to Dionysis for his warm welcome and help during our stay.

Everything was fine

The location in Molyvos was great - we had five rooms for our kids & grandkids. The rooms were clean and the host was very accommodating and they had great views, the breakfast was amazing

We had an issue in one room with the air conditioner but it was fixed as soon as possible, also a lot of flies

They changed the room on the third night of the stay

There was construction works within the facility of our room of the first 2 nights...

Location, view from room and breakfast were all big wins for us.

Only location

1/season started but property is not ready at all ,even at the beach , hotel was still underconstruction during our stay2/ we had to change 2 times our rooms there was some complications, refregirator was not working and some other issues. 3/ hotel is poorly maintened . They did not revise any place for new season . 4/beach is very dirty and not cleaned , sunbed is not cleaned up . It seems like alomost “ end of the season” hotel was very tired .

The hotel is ןמ a really beautiful building in a fantastic location. There’s a small beach nearby, and it's also close to shops, restaurants, and one of the stations of the Molyvos village train. The room was small but comfortable, and I had a great view of the sea. The breakfast was also quite nice, and sitting by the sea while eating is always a bonus.

Some aspects of the hotel are a bit outdated, but overall, it's very comfortable.

8MURATPosted on: 10-9-2024

Very comfortable and functional rooms. Sea was clear and view was excellent.

Pebbles on the beach shore makes it difficult to reach the sandy zone of the sea. There is no dressing cabin to change swimsuits.

Location is lovely - just by sea, good views of castle and easy walk to restaurants

Rooms and corridors very tired and a bit dirty , stains on carpet and shower floors, the decking on way to pool was also broken but I suspect it was end of season as they closed the day after so hopefully it will be spruced up for next year

7CatalogluPosted on: 8-30-2024

Very good location and large room

The entrance staff did not bother to walk along until the room.

1DavidPosted on: 8-27-2024

The location.

The hotel is in severe need of an upgrade. It’s shabby, with with flaking paint, ancient mattresses (in my case two boxsprings!) filthy carpets. It seems some of the rooms are a bit better than others, which might account for some of the fairly decent reviews. All I can say is that management/owners are taking the piss by renting out what they know are room not fit for proper habitation.

10bilgehanPosted on: 8-25-2024

We were sleep accomplished with the voice of waves

The siphon of the toilet was leaking water and the room doors were very old.

We had a wonderful time in Olive Hotel. The breakfast was delicious, the room was very comfortable and clean, the beach was right next to it, and the staff was very helpful. We want to thank the ladies and the gentleman in the reservation desk for their kindness and helpfulness. We are going to stay in Olive Hotel once more, in our next visit to Molivos.

8VasilikiPosted on: 7-17-2024

Close to the village, nice old building

Old rooms, the personnel was not so professional and had little knowledge about things to do in the village like watching the sunset that is what Molivos is known for. Also they had a lifeguard at the pool because they have to have him but the man was all the time on his phone
