Pros +
- the lady at the front desk was great
- I like that it was close to the beach
- the location and the facilities
Cons -
- hot water issues and the double bed was just 2 single beds pushed together and they kept coming apart
- The rest, the services was very rude and impolite. The rooms were old and we asked for a separate bed and we got a normal bed so we have to separate ourself. In the room you have the sink and bathroom outside without door, if someone is in bed can see you taking a shower or going to toilet. The room were not very clean even so we have to wait 1 hour more for our check in as it was late and ofc no possibility of do late check out. There were a lot of drunk people around of the hotel and the service did nothing

Very good management team. Good breakfast. Nice area near the beach for rent just 25 euros. Near night life, near shops.Recommend.
We stayed here for a week, and overall, we had a good experience! What we loved:The breakfast buffet was excellent — a wide variety of options and everything was fresh and delicious. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. I recommend booking a higher floor with at least a partial sea view — the sunrise every morning was beautifulThe staff at the restaurant and hotel were friendly and attentive. No issues at all.The location is very convenient — there’s a bus stop right at the hotel that takes you directly to the airport, and they also offer a shuttle service.
The pool and towel system needs better management. Each guest gets a card to exchange for a towel at the pool, and when finished, you return it to get your card back. Unfortunately, many guests place their towels on chairs by the “adults” pool early in the morning, then leave for hours to the beach, bar, or restaurant — essentially reserving seats they aren’t using. This left very few available spots for guests who actually wanted to enjoy the pool. It was frustrating to see empty chairs with towels but no people. The hotel should monitor this more closely: if you’re not there, you shouldn’t be reserving a spot.
The hotel facilities are great. The Breakfast was ok though they had snacks all day and at 5pm cocktail and different snakes as well. Overall stay was positive
The elevators need whole renovations, very old and dirty. They sun-beds and chairs are not for free and we had to pay for it.
The hotel is a bit old. The lifts smell bad and broken. Good breakfast, nice swimming pools although not enough sunbeds.
Rooms/ corridors/ lifts are old and need some renovation.
Location
Bedrooms corridors dirty, impossible to have a chair at the pool, the beach chair were $25 each,
Great location, nice and clean rooms and pool with a beach front. The beach is clean and sunbeds are available, however a bit pricey during the high season.
The unavailability of staff to help during check out process as in my experience checked out early morning at 8 and they start duty later. The room service facility was mentioned to be available from 7am-10 or 11 pm but actually was not available between 10 am-12 pm as kitchen closes between official breakfast and lunch shifts. Some technical issues with the AC that was attended promptly but needs more attention for maintenance. Another issue with the tap mixers of both the shower and the sink that made reaching a warm water state a hard mission (however, I tried to manage without asking for maintenance)
Location is great
You should pay for bed near the beach. The room is not clean. I would not recommend this hotel.
Location only
Nothing was good, access to room with baby stroller, decoration , corridors, no body to help or support, soo horrible
Breakfast was excellent. Staff very kind. Appreciated beach towels in room and coffee bar.
The view is amazing , the sweet was comfortable and spacious The staff Claudia at the reception very helpful and insightful she knows every good restaurant on the island ?Olga I think she was the manager also did a great job trying to fix the mess that the housekeeping did to us.
Food was not that good The housekeeping did a terrible job in cleaning the room they barely fixed the beds the room was almost always dirty and they took my Manuka honey.
Our 2nd stay and Melia South Beach, Like the location and modern facilities.
The breakfast was advertised till 11, but by 10am items were being packed away, or the selections were limited. There was hardly any choice to go up for 2nds. & the q for the reception always seemed to be long & really slow service, sometimes to ask a simple question you were queuing behind people checking in or checking out, maybe suggest and information desk.
The area was too crowded and the room we booked see view was on first floor and had a view of a cemented roof
The hotel is well-maintained with a welcoming and attentive staff at the reception and throughout the property. The location is amazing, close to everything you may need to. The hotel offers delicious meals for both breakfast and dinner. The rooms are stocked with Rituals toiletries and high-quality linens. Overall, it has a warm and inviting atmosphere.
It was impossible to get any information about the hotel before our trip, whether through email or social media, and even here on Booking, the hotel did not respond at all. I believe this is an area that needs improvement. We also faced an unpleasant situation: it was consistently difficult for our group to find a table for dinner each evening, as there were 10 of us. One evening, a waiter offered us a table, but it was uncomfortable. Nearby, there were more suitable tables with chairs, so we asked if we could rearrange them ourselves, but our request was denied. That’s fine, rules are rules. However, just 10 minutes later, another group of guests arrived, and they were allowed to move the tables together. My friend spoke with the manager about this, and the manager promised that from then on, we would have a reserved table at a specific time for our group. Yet the next day, none of the staff were aware of this arrangement :))Additionally, the room cleaning was occasionally (though not always) lacking, particularly when it came to mopping the floors, as sand often remained. The room could also really use a pouf or some chairs by the table.
Comfortable king size bed - much better than hotel Florida where we also stayed on our trip to Magaluf. Great view from room.
Spacious family rooms. Delicious breakfast. Close to the sea.
3 days in a row no soap was refilled in public toilets (even when reminded twice). Sink smelled really nasty (needs proper deep cleaning). Restaurant according to reception serves door until 10 pm. At 9 pm we weren’t event allowed to enter for a drink hence the waitress had two smaller groups and had no “time” for us. Not really welcoming.
Not very good. Don’t help out at all. Said the hotel was full.
6 lads going for golf. Two of the rooms had single beds ( I had asked for all single beds in the rooms) one of the rooms had a double bed so 2 men had to sleep in the same bed. Not good!!!!!!!!!!!
Breakfast was abundant and tasty but the items were too much spread out. They can distribute them better. We liked the offer of activities and the fact they were included. We appreciated the hotel provided swimming pool towels but they should include it in the room amenities description because we didn’t know and we brought our own.
Walls are very thin and we could hear the loud music from outside as well as guests from next door and the housekeeping ladies talking in the corridor early in the morning who woke us up two or three times.Slippers were not provided in the room which should be a requirement for a 4* hotel. The door of the room was very weak and could be easily open from the outside. For the room key, we were forced to wear a bracelet and we were only informed afterwards that we couldn’t remove it. I personally didn’t like it when the bracelet got wet and also I had to go to a wedding ceremony with this non elegant bracelet, which wasn’t great.
